Extreme Bodybuilding Tactics and Tips
By : http://superbodybuildingtips.wordpress.com/Extreme bodybuilding is a world unto itself. The extreme nature of bodybuilding in general is very exciting and challenging. Only the most disciplined need apply for this difficult but rewarding sport. As tough as it is however, there are some techniques to help get you to your goals more efficiently.
If you dream of having a sculpted body like brad pit or wish you had muscles half the size of Arnold in his hay day, then get ready to hit the gym. There is more to building a huge muscular body than just pumping iron however; it is more like living a bodybuilding lifestyle. What is a bodybuilding lifestyle? It is a life wrought with discipline, training, straining, sweating, and challenging your body in ways you never imagined.
Extreme bodybuilding is a science and an art-form. You can study nutrition until you have a PHD but you still will never master it. You can read every workout journal, book, online newsletter on the planet and you won't know it all. Ultimately you have to master you, inside and out to have success in the bodybuilding world. Too many people believe that it's just a bunch of muscle heads pumping iron in the gym, they just don't get it.
Bodybuilding as any real sport requires becoming a better you. Like martial arts, you have to master your mind long before you master your body. So how do we become a bodybuilding master? Here are a few tips that should help along the way.
Tip one- Call yourself a bodybuilder. Even if you never intend to go pro, you still have to make bodybuilding a part of your lifestyle. This means that bodybuilders consider themselves bodybuilders, I know this may sound simplistic but there is a huge difference between the guy who considers himself a bodybuilder and the guy who just goes to the gym a few times a week.
Tip two- Set goals. Bodybuilding is very difficult and sometimes it feels as though we are on an endless treadmill. You have got to find a way to have little victories along the way. Weighing yourself every week, getting regular body-fat testing done, and having little competitions with other bodybuilders in the gym are all ways to stay motivated. Even if you just want to be a bodybuilder who will never go pro, it might be a great idea to enter contests anyway to motivate you toward a specific goal.
Tip three- Never stop learning. The best way to learn of course is by doing but you should learn as much as you can from as many different sources as you can. The learning never stops; you just continue to get better and better. Watch what other more successful bodybuilders do, ask them for tips, and always try new things.
Bodybuilding is a rewarding sport if you stick to it long enough to have successes. What you will find in the end, just like martial arts masters, Olympic athletes and other extremely successful people, is that ultimately you are developing your mind through your body. The body simply becomes a tool to enhance your mental skills and of course extreme bodybuilding is one of the most extreme ways to do this.
