Parish Motto—Building the Kingdom of God
CCD Registration St. Benilde’s CCD Program is offered to pre-K4 through 12th grade students not currently attending Catholic school. Classes begin on Sunday, Sept. 8, in the main school building. We teach religion from 9:30 a.m. until 10:45 a.m. Registration forms are available in the Church vestibule and in the Parish Of ice, and on our website. The usual fee/tuition is $50 per student. Please join us in celebrating Fr. Pat Wattigny for his years of service as pastor at St. Benilde and for his 25th anniversary of his priestly ordination on Sunday, September 8th at the 11:00 AM Mass. There will be a reception following in the cafeteria. All are invited to attend.
Housekeeper Wanted! St. Benilde Parish is looking to hire a housekeeper for the parish rectory. We are looking for the housekeeper to come once a month for dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, bathrooms, baseboards, light fixtures, etc. If you are interested in the position, please email resume and references to [email protected].
Little Flowers and Blue Knights Interested in a faith-filled and fun monthly activity for your children? We offer 3 clubs that meet for an hour each month to learn about the faith in a fun way! Little Flowers is available to girls K-3rd grade. They'll meet for a story, craft and activity about a specific saint or virtue. Grotto Girls is available to girls 3rd-7th grade or if they have completed the Little Flowers 3 year cycle. They'll meet for journaling, discussion and friendship. Family Movie Night Please join us on Friday, September 6, for a showing of The Letters: The Untold Story of Mother Teresa. Based on her true story, The Letters explores the hidden and public life of Mother Teresa. Her selfless devotion to helping the poor everywhere changed hearts, transformed
lives and inspired millions throughout the world. Based on a series of personal letters she wrote to her spiritual director, this powerful film presents moving insights into her spiritual life, and is an unforgettable journey of faith, courage and compassion.
