Congratulations on purchasing your tanning extraction unit which will provide you with a cleaner, healthier working environment, vastly reducing tanning solution particles from the air.

Read all safety information before operating the equipment.

1. Explanation of symbols usedThis symbol indicates a potential danger to you or to the Spray Tanning System. Under this symbol you can find important information on how to avoid injuries and damage to the Spray Tanning System.

2. Field of applicationWe advise using your extraction unit every time you spray tan.

iNote: The extraction unit is re-circulatory; ie. Filtered air is exhausted back into the workplace.

3. Important Safety InstructionsTo reduce the risks of fire or explosion, electrical shock and the injury to persons, read and understand all instructions included in this manual. Be familiar with the controls and proper usage of the equipment.

• NEVER immerse the unit in water.• WARNING! DO NOT use your spray tan equipment near bathtubs, showers,

basins, or other vessels containing water.• Always disconnect the unit from the mains supply when cleaning equipment or

removing the filter.• Always unplug the cordset when not in use to prevent tripping.• This appliance is not intended for use by persons under 14 years of age or of reduced

physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.

• NEVER allow children to operate the extraction unit.• NEVER use the Carry Strap to support unit when in operatinon.• NEVER allow animals to come into close contact with the extraction unit.

• We recommend you wipe clean your extraction unit after every use and wash the fi lter when necessary.

• Use only genuine manufacturer replacement parts.• If the supply cordset is damaged, it must be replaced only with manufacturer’s Part No.

5. Operation• Your extraction unit can be fi tted into the

back of your tanning tent or placed to the front of the tanning tent.

• Do not sit the extraction unit inside the tanning tent or it may become coated excessively in tanning overspray.

• The unit is powered via a cordset plugged at the rear (Fig. 2, 4).

• Push the cordset into the back of the unit and plug into a wall socket outlet.

• When not in use detach the cordset to avoid accidents.

• Switch the unit on via the switch to the rear of the extraction unit.

• The fan will begin to spin extracting the overspray in the atmosphere into the Main Filter at the front of the unit.

• The fi lter will catch the tanning solution being drawn in, with the clean, fi ltered air being emitted from the sides of the unit.

• Always stand your extraction unit on a suitable level and fl at, rigid surface. If used in a carpeted room, always protect the carpet with newspaper or a towel.

• Ensure that the vents on each side of the extractor are outside the tent and are not covered by any part of the tent or any other material.

6. Removing the fi lter• Your extraction unit comes with

a washable fi lter. If kept clean and washed on a regular basis your fi lter will not need replacing (Fig. 3, 1).

• Remove from front of the unit.• Wearing rubber gloves rinse the

fi lter with warm water until the water runs clear. There should be no clogged tanning solution left in your fi lter.

• Make sure the fi lter is dry before putting it back into the extraction unit.

7. Cleaning and maintenance• Switch off the unit and disconnect from the mains supply.• The main body of the extraction unit can be wiped with a damp cloth after every use. • DO NOT ALLOW WATER TO DRIP INTO THE EXTRACTION UNIT.• Contamination of the Monitor Filter can occur if the Main (round) Filter becomes blocked

by excessive exposure to tanning solution. If the Monitor Filter becomes contaminated a major clean of the unit is required.

• Follow instructions in ‘Removing the Filter’.

8. StorageStore unit away in a safe place with cord wrapped around unit without any twisting.

10. Important Note regarding Product Liability!According to an EC directive, the manufacturer is liable for this product only if all parts originate from or were approved by the manufacturer and the tools are assembled and operated correctly. The use of other accessories and spare parts can partially or completely invalidate the liability.

Environmental protectionThe appliance and accessories should be recycled in an environmentally friendly way. Do not dispose of the appliance with household waste. Support environmental protection by taking the appliance to a local collection point or obtain information from a specialist retailer.

Important Electrical InformationUse only a 3-wire extension cord that has a 3-pin plug that will accept the plug on the product. Make sure your extension cord is in good condition. When using an extension cord, be sure to use one heavy enough to carry the current your product will draw. An undersized cord will cause a drop in line voltage resulting in loss of power and overheating. A harmonised H03 PVC type cord is required as a minimum for general indoor use.

WARNINGIf the supply cord of this appliance is damaged, it must only be replaced by a repair shop appointed by the manufacturer, because special purpose tools are required to avoid a safety hazard.

WARNING! Do not connect the blue or brown wire to the earth terminal of the plug! The wires in this supply cord are coloured in accordance with the following code:

blue = neutral brown = live

As the colours of the wires in the supply cord of this appliance may not correspond with the coloured markings identifiying the terminals in your plug, proceed as follows:Should the moulded plug have to be replaced, never reuse the defective plug or

attempt to plug it into a different 13 A socket-outlet. This could result in an electric shock.Should it be necessary to exchange the fuse in the plug only fit a 5Amp fuse

approved by ASTA in accordance with BS1362. To ensure that the fuse and fuse carrier are correctly mounted please observe the

provided markings or colour coding in the plug.After changing the fuse, always make sure that the fuse carrier is correctly inserted.

Without the fuse carrier, it is not permissible to use the plug. The correct fuses and fuse carriers are available from your local electrical supplies

stockist.

GuaranteeThe guarantee runs for two years, counting from the date of sale (sales slip) in case of private use, and 1 year in case of commercial use. It covers and is restricted to free-of-charge rectification of faults which are demonstrably attributable to the use of faulty materials in manufacture, or assembly errors; or free-of-charge replacement of the defective parts. The guarantee does not cover incorrect use or commissioning or fitting or repair work which is not stated in our operating instructions. Wearing parts are also excluded from the guarantee. This includes in particular cables, filters, motor etc.. We expressly reserve the right to fulfil the guarantee. The guarantee expires if the tool is opened up by persons other than WAGNER service personnel. Transport damage, maintenance work and loss and damage due to faulty maintenance work are not covered by the guarantee. Under any guarantee claim, there must be proof of purchase of the product through submission of the original receipt. Wherever legally possible, we exclude all liability for injury, damage or consequential loss, especially if the product has been used for a purpose other than that stated in the operating instructions, commissioned or repaired other than in accordance with our operating instructions or if repairs are performed by someone who is unqualified. We reserve the right to perform any repairs in excess of those stated in our operating instructions. In case of guarantee or repair, please refer to your point of sale.
