The legal aspects of supplier contracts are also covered in this department. In view of the implementation of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) a project is running to make our third party contracts GDPR compliant. We are looking for a contributor to this project who’ll focus on specific suppliers/contracts. The role consists of: Owner of a selection of third parties (suppliers/contracts) where actions are to be taken towards GDPR compliance. Apply the methodology (identification, diagnosis, remediation, negotiation, contracting, …) to reach GDPR compliance in a consistent and structured way. Set-up and manage internal stakeholder meetings to drive analysis and remediation steps in respect of suppliers/contracts allocated to you. Support internal stakeholders (buyers, data protection specialists, contract engineers, …) to get the required documentation. Prepare, and participate to, GDPR related interactions (communication, documentation, negotiation, …) towards the third parties in your scope. Provide regular updates on status and progress. We are clearly looking for profiles on the crossroads of procurement, IT and law.
