“Lalco Interiors Scholarship Program 2019-20” $500 “Lalco Interiors Scholarship Program 2019-20” is open to all students across the world, who are 18+ years of age and are enrolled in any School/College/University for the year 2019-20. Scholarship Value: 500$ cash scholarship will be awarded to 1 student, chosen as winner by the judging panel. Opioid Epidemic Recovery Scholarship URL: https://lselaw.com/#opioidscholarship The Opioid Epidemic Recovery Scholarship will award $1,000 to a student who answers the following questions thoughtfully and creatively: Given the current opioid epidemic, what laws can be put into place to prevent medical professionals from over-prescribing prescription medications such as opioids? How can we effectively fight this crisis? Eligibility & Selection Criteria: This scholarship is offered to any student currently enrolled in an accredited community college, undergraduate, or graduate program in the United States. This includes incoming first-year college students who are high school graduates or possess a GED. All eligible candidates must be in good academic standing, with a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above. Application Requirements: An updated resumé. A 750-word essay responding to the following prompt: Given the current opioid epidemic, what laws can be put into place to prevent medical professionals from over-prescribing prescription medications such as opioids? Chalik & Chalik Community Engagement Scholarship Scholarship URL: https://www.chaliklaw.com/community-engagement-scholarship/ Every so often, Chalik & Chalik put together a scholarship, and this year we are offering the Community Engagement Scholarship for $1,000. This scholarship will recognize one deserving student who has demonstrated a passion for and commitment to giving back to the community. Deadline for Applications: December 15, 2019 National Founder’s Scholarship – Undergraduate Student A $500 stipend which will be awarded to a current full-time U.S. undergraduate student earning their bachelor's degree in business, with a demonstrated interest in entrepreneurship. The award will be paid directly to the student, and can be used for any expenses related to undergraduate education, including but not limited to tuition, room, board, books, or commuting expenses. Candidates should submit a cover letter summarizing their interest and experience in entrepreneurship to [email protected]. The Military Family Scholarship URL: https://jsberrylaw.com/#scholarship An amount of $1,000 will be awarded to one student to help them pursue their educational goals. URL: https://jsberrylaw.com/#scholarship The Military Family Scholarship is available to students who meet the scholarship eligibility requirements and come from a military home, are currently serving, or who are military Veterans. In a 750 – 1,000 word essay, please discuss how the unique challenges of military life helped shape the person you have become. Whether the lessons came in the form of hardships and sacrifices, or opportunities and lessons, let us know how being a part of the broader military community helped form your character, values, and passions. An amount of $1,000 will be awarded to one student to help them pursue their educational goals. Eligibility and Selection Criteria For a student to be considered eligible for The Military Family Scholarship, they must meet the following criteria: Students must be currently enrolled in an undergraduate, graduate, or law program at an accredited college or university in the United States. High school seniors who will be graduating before the scholarship deadline and are able to provide proof of enrollment in a U.S. accredited college or university are eligible to apply. Students must be in good academic standing with a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale. Students must be a US service member, US military Veteran, or a family member of US military personnel or Veterans. Application Requirements To be considered for this scholarship, applicants must submit the following documents: A current official or unofficial academic transcript from your most recent academic institution for proof of GPA. High school seniors must also submit proof of acceptance or enrollment in a U.S. accredited college or university. A current resume that includes education and contact information, as well as volunteer and extracurricular experience. A 750 – 1,000 word essay on the following topic: Discuss how growing up in a military family shaped your life. What opportunities have you earned or what hardships have you overcome as a result of you or your loved one’s military career? 2020 United Water Restoration Group Scholarship Detailed description: At United Water Restoration Group, we are proud to offer a scholarship program for students in the process of pursuing a college degree. The awarded student will receive $1,000 to be used towards expenses for his or her degree. Value of scholarship: $1,000 Qualifications: U.S. citizen accepted to or currently attending a college or university within the United States. The Fair Divorce Legislation Scholarship URL: https://www.divorcelawyers1.com/#scholarship The deadline for this scholarship is February 29, 2020. In a 750-1,000 word essay discuss whether you believe divorce legislation to be fair. Do you believe that the laws pertaining to divorce in your state are fair to all parties involved? If so, explain your position. If not, discuss how you believe these laws can be reformed to provide a solution that reflects the best interests of all parties. An amount of $1,000 will be awarded to a student who best describes their position on the subject and reasoning behind it. Scholarship Eligibility To be eligible for The Fair Divorce Legislation Scholarship, applicants must be enrolled in an accredited community college, undergraduate, or graduate program and have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher. Applicants may still submit an application if awaiting admission or deciding on an institution, however, the selected individual must be enrolled for the upcoming semester before receiving the financial aid.

Application Requirements To apply for this scholarship, interested candidates should provide the following: A current resume with up-to-date contact information, An official or unofficial academic transcript, and An essay of 750-1,000 words discussing how you’ve been affected by divorce and if you believe laws pertaining to divorce are fair in your state. Explain the challenges you or a loved one faced and how different legislation may have exacerbated or lessened those challenges Deadline To be considered for this year’s scholarship, please send all required documentation (essay transcripts, and resume) via email to [email protected] by the deadline of February 29, 2020. “The BeMo® & SortSmart® Diversity Advocacy Scholarship” https://bemoacademicconsulting.com/scholarship Designed to help pre-medical and medical students with medical school application and tuition costs, respectively. The scholarship runs twice a year in spring and fall offering $1,000 to each scholarship winner. Applicants must be full-time pre-medical (any undergraduate discipline) or medical students in good academic standing. Each applicant will complete a short survey about their academic experience in addition to a brief, online, 15-question SortSmart admissions screening test. The screening test assesses characteristics and traits that we believe are essential to becoming a future physician and an advocate for diversity. The scholarship winners are selected based on their performance on this test. The deadlines are May 31st and Oct. 31st of each year.
