  • Childrens Social Care/Social Work Clinical Psychologist JOB/20/00802 KA1 ● 18 hours and 30 minutes per week ● Shand House, Matlock Part Time ● Permanent ● Childrens Services The Preventing Family Breakdown Service works with families where a child aged 10-17 is either at high risk of coming into care, or is already a ‘Looked After Child’. The service offers intervention to try and help a family make sustainable changes so a child can safely remain at home or to return home to their family. The Clinical Psychologist will provide a clinical lead in these interventions as well as undertaking direct therapeutic interventions, clinical assessments of need and risk, and consultation and formulations of the problems children and families experience. The role also includes providing specialist support to other team members and liaison with the wider network of mental health and therapy services, both for children and adults, to support the delivery of the wider plan for a child and their family. The Clinical Practitioner is also expected to support the development of the service through supporting the implementation of clinical tools and interventions, training, and ongoing development of the ‘multi-systems’ working model the team uses.   • Erewash Borough Council Mechanic JOB/20/01390 GRADE E - £22,911 - £26,317 per year plus standby allowance ● 37 hours per week ● Merlin House, Ilkeston Full Time ● Permanent The council is seeking to appoint an experienced mechanic to undertake maintenance, servicing and repairs to the municipal fleet based at the council’s depot in Merlin Way, Ilkeston. The main requirements of the role will be: -

    To carry out servicing, maintenance and repairs to HGV vehicles such as refuse collection vehicles and road sweepers and light to medium sized commercial vehicle

    To diagnose vehicle defects and carry out repairs in a timely manner To carry out inspections on hackney carriage and private hire vehicles To maintain agricultural type vehicles and plant such as tractors and mowers. A clean driving licence including HGV Category C1 is essential.

    You’ll also be required to participate in an out of hour’s standby service on a rota basis when the fleet is operational outside normal working hours and at weekends. You will also be expected to attend vehicle breakdowns and where possible rectify defects at roadside. An additional stand-by allowance is payable when on-call.
