UPDATES
• Online Domestic Applications increase to $75.00 from $50.00
• Paper Domestic Applications increase to $100.00 from $75.00
• International Document Assessment fee for Domestic Applications decreases to $75.00 from $100.00
• Seat deposits increase to $600.00 from $500.00
• International Applications remain the same at $150.00
• SCBScN one time application fee remains the same at $100
Application Fee ChangesEffective July 01, 2019
• student profile of registrations (enrolment verification, course schedule) **this must originate from the school
• Ministry of Education transcripts (paper or electronic)
• An email from secondary/post-secondary staff supplying required information for conditional admission, that must clearly originate with the school and contains a full signature block (i.e., name, position, school)
Preliminary statement of high school standing form eliminated, current HS students still must submit this information through one
of the following options:
Applicants will submit only one application each year and indicate one location of site preference.
Applicants are accepted on the basis of their competitive admission average and the number of seats available at each location.
If applicants become waitlisted at their location of choice, and a seat becomes available to the applicant at a different location than the one that was chosen, the applicant will be contacted and offered that as an alternative
site. The applicant will have the option to accept the seat at the alternate
site, or decline it and remain on the waitlist at their location of choice.
The site options for this year are Regina, Saskatoon, and North Battleford; not admitting to Swift Current this year.

and will return to FQFA status for the 2020-

Power Engineering Technician Certificate
• Location: Regina Delivery is subject to needs assessment
• Duration: 36 Weeks
• Additional Requirements: Grade 12 with Foundations of
Math 30 or Pre-Calculus 30*. Minimum overall average
of 65%
Interactive Design and Technology
• Effective for the September 2019 intake, the Interactive Design
and Technology program will move from the Prince Albert
Campus to the Saskatoon Campus and the number of seats will
increase to 30. The program is also offered in Regina
Computer Systems Technology• Effective for the September 2019 intake, the program will be
offered at the Regina Campus. The program continues to be offered in Saskatoon.
Business Information Systems Technology• Effective for the September 2019 intake, the program will be
offered at the Regina Campus. The program continues to be offered in Moose Jaw.
Addictions Counselling Diploma
• English Language Requirement specific to Addictions
Counselling effective January 2020 (refer to Addictions
Counselling in the ELP chart)
All Nursing and Health Science Programs
• Accepted applicants are required to provide evidence of 2015
WHMIS Globally Harmonized System (GHS) certification upon
admission into the program.
Psychiatric Nursing Diploma
• Effective July 01, 2019 Accepted applicants must provide
evidence of:
• TLR certification
• Professional Assault Response Training (PART)
• 2015 WHMIS GHS Certification

COET(Creating Opportunities for Entry into the Trades)
Skilled Trades Awareness and Readiness (STAR) • The COET program is designed to provide trades training opportunities to underrepresented groups such
as:
• Indigenous peoples
• Newcomers
• Persons with disabilities

• exploration into the construction and transportation trades today with our three-day tours, one-week
intro programs and our 12-20 week applied certificate programs.
• Free tuition for your chosen program or activities (seat fee may apply).

University of SaskatchewanGeological Engineering program• graduates of the Sask Polytech Mining Engineering Technology diploma
program to transfer into the 2nd year Bachelor of Science in Engineering
– Geological Engineering program at Usask
• students can graduate with both a Sask Polytech diploma and a USask
degree after only five years of study.
• Agreement signed August 2019.
University of SaskatchewanEdwards School of Business• graduates of the Sask Polytech two-year Business diploma program can
transfer into the third year of the University of Saskatchewan’s (USask)
four-year Bachelor of Commerce program at Edwards to continue their
education (2+2).
• graduates of Sask Polytech’s one-year Business certificate program can
transfer to the second year at Edwards (1+3).
• Students must meet USask admission requirements to transfer into the
four-year Bachelor of Commerce degree.
