The story has the city of Verona as a background. Two powerful families are mortal enemies: the Montecchio family and the Capulets. They live in constant conflicts which disturb the order and the peace of the city. Such events cause the anger of the Prince who determines severe punishments to the ones involved in the conflicts: they would be punished with death. Romeo, a young Montecchio,  is enchanted by a young and beautiful woman that he discovers to be Juliet Capulet. They fall in love and something really terrible happens.
