PROPULSION AND STATION-KEEPINGDynpos-Autro-ER station-keeping is provided by six (6) 5500kW vari-able speed, fixed pitch, VFD, azimuthing thrusters each located in a separate water-tight compartment with independent cooling systems and separate connections to six independent cable trunks. All 6 thrust-ers are under water dismountable with the (2) aft thrusters being above keel line allowing vessel to access dry dock or come along quay side. Optionally the 4 forward thrusters can be fully retractable.

F&G DS 3810 DRILLSHIPThe DS 3810 is a new drillship that can drill 40,000ft well in up to 12,500ft of water with limited support in remote environments. Ninety (90) days endurance means there will be fewer supply boat runs required. The dual derrick has a stand-building center for greater efficiency. High functional deck spaces with large pipe racks, a semi-enclosed deck area with an overhead gantry and subsea access. Ample below-deck workshops, warehouses, container storage with forklift and crane access are all designed for unprecedented mis-sion flexibility. Large slop tanks are provided to capture drains and storm water for zero discharge. Integrated Ballast Water Treatment and IMO Tier III gensets along with a dedicated Waste Management System and double-skin tanks minimize the environmental footprint for operation in sensitive areas.

POWER SYSTEMMain power is supplied by six (6) x 8500 eKW diesel gensets located by pairs in three (3) independent engine rooms each with separate cable trunks connections to each of the six independent main switchboard rooms in a ring bus configuration with Closed Bus-Ties. The system is designed to provide better fuel efficiency, more flexibility for power man-agement while maintaining an advanced protection, redundancy using independent systems, blackout prevention, quick recovery and reliable new technology such as energy storage and peak shaving system.

ACCOMMODATIONS AND LIFE SAVING EQUIPMENTThe quarters are designed to accommodate 210 people in comfort for an extended period of time and they meet last IMO requirements. There are 28 single-bed and 91 double-bed staterooms along with gal-ley, mess-room, library, gym, theater and internet rooms. A hospital is provided with an emergency sick-bay/training room next door. An entire floor on the upper level is dedicated to office space and Central Con-trol Room to ensure a good coordination of the critical operations and emergency response. Separate office space is provided for 3rd party services Companies in the mid-ship house nearby their respective op-eration areas.

Two (2) x 125 person lifeboats are provided on each side of the ac-commodation. Additionally, one (1) 42 person lifeboat is provided on each side aft.

MUD SYSTEMTwo (2) parallel shaker lines. Each consisting of four (4) multi-deck shale shakers with a total capacity of 4,800 GPM working either in se-ries or parallel and two (2) distribution tanks. Two (2) degassers with a processing capacity of 1300 GPM each. Space for cuttings dryer, gumbo trap and three (3) third party centrifuges and pumps is reserved.
