Extended Learning OpportunitiesThis term we have extended our programme. Each term works independently and what is on offer will change from term to term.

Fun with Science Grade 4 - 7: This opportunity will explore fun experiments leaving the participants in awe of how things work.

Fun with isiXhosa Grade 1 - 7: isiXhosa will continue using the concept of HOOFIE families as the children have fun with exploring isiXhosa. This will include music, movement, dress up and snippets of cultural life.

Fun with Food Grade 1 -3: This opportunity will involve creating tasty treats which will include creativity and tasting.

Fun with Music Grade 1 -3: A fun-filled music and movement programme stimulating creativity, music appreciation, instrument exploration, social interaction and more.

Information Technology Gr 7: Students explore the hardware and software of the IT world and build computers from scratch.

Fun with Afrikaans Grade 4 - 7: The emphasis is on FUN so that interactive learning happens and perceptions change.

Helen O’ Grady Grade 1 - 3 and 4 - 7: Helen O’Grady continues their usual excellence as students express themselves freely and confidently.

Fun with Crafts Grade 1 - 3 and 4 - 7: Card making, scrapbooking and other crafting styles will be explored.

Engineering with Lego Grade 1 - 3 and Grade 4 - 7: This is run by Future Engineers. It is an exciting activity which makes Engineering fun! It teaches a set curriculum ranging from: Engineering, Science, Math, Architecture, Storytelling, and Language Arts.

Fun with Wool Grade 4 - 7: This will include crochet, arm knitting, finger knitting and french knitting.

Abagility Maths: Please refer to their brochure. Due to the specifics of their age groups and levels they have to determine classes and times and prices also vary. There is a maximum of 6 in class. They will endeavour to accommodate as many as possible by creating more sessions.

Chess Grade 1 - 3 and 4 - 7: To avoid this becoming a baby sitting club and to enable us to equip the club with decent chess boards, there will be a charge from this term.
