Power, Durability and Performance.

A bold new approach to servo-hydraulic tesng. Manufactured to exacng standards,

these machines are tough and cost less than convenonal hydraulic tesng machines.

ExPress machines employ strain gage load cells for direct measurement

of force. No need to compensate for piston fricon and other nonlineari-

es, these frames oer exceponal accuracy and precision while reducing

long-term calibraon and service costs. The hydraulic power supply and

electronics are integral with the frame thereby saving valuable lab space.

• Available in capacies from 50kN (11,250 lbf) to

600kN (135,000 lbf), ExPress machines are de-

signed for performing tests on bar stock, com-

posites, fasteners, metals, rebar, sheet materials,

strapping, wire and other materials.

compression and exure tesng.

buon and manual jog controls.

Notes:

1. Machines use two stage pump (ie. high ow forces and low owat high forces). The published rates are at low forces. At higher

forces the maximum rate will be 1/6 the published.

2. Longer or shorter strokes are available upon request.

3. Total vercal test space is the distance from the top surface of

the piston rod to the boom surface of the crosshead when

fully extended, excluding load cell, grips and xtures. Larger or

smaller openings can be accommodated by varying the lengths

of the strain rods.

Load Measurement Accuracy: +/- 0.5% of reading down to 1/100 of load cell capacity. Meets or exceeds ASTM E4, BSENIS 7500-1: 2004,

DIN 51221 and JIS B7721 standards. ADMET self-idenfying load cells

are oered with all systems.

Strain Measurement Accuracy: +/- 0.5% of reading down to 1/50 of

full scale with ASTM E83 class B extensometers. Meets or exceeds

ASTM E83 and BSENISO9513: 2002 standards.

Controls and Soware

All ADMET Tesng Machines can be equipped with one of two closed

loop servo controllers. MTESTQuaro®, our most advanced tesng sys-

tem, is a PC-based unit that oers a wide range of exibility in control,

data acquision, analysis, and reporng. The eP2 Digital Controller, a

standalone touch panel unit, oers a balance between performance

and simplicity. Both controllers feature 8 kHz servo update periods and

programmable log rates to 1 kHz.

Accessories - Grips, environmental chambers,

extensometers, baths, cung tools and more.

Systems can be equipped with a variety of grips, xtures, environ-

mental chambers and temperature controlled baths to accommodate

a wide range of tesng requirements. For more accurate strain mea-

surements, extensometers or deectometers can be added to any

ADMET tesng System.

Service and Calibraon

MTESTQuaro® running on Windows

Training and Service - ADMET tesng systems are easy to learn and use. We provide free introductory on-line training

and, if needed, addional on-site training. Our manuals, tutorials, and trouble shoong guides are updated regularly.

We provide free phone and email product support through the life of the system. ADMET’s on-site service and calibra-

on team includes over 100 individuals in over 40 locaons in the USA.

Calibraon - Customers can setup calibraon contracts with ADMET or a private party. All services are A2LA accredited

and meet ISO/IEC Guide 17025 and ANSI/NCSL Z540.
