TIGER DINING JOB FAIRS AT GOODWILL CAREER CENTER The Goodwill Career Center will host job fairs for Tiger Dining from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m. on July 18, 22, 31 and August 5 and 14. Part time and full time positions and all shifts are available. Positions are available for cashiers, baristas, food service, cooks, lead cooks, executive chefs and supervisors. The Goodwill Career Center is located at 3740 Pepperell Parkway.

SUPREME LENDING SEND-OFF PARTY FOR INTERNATIONAL JUNIOR MISS ALABAMA TEEN Supreme Lending will host a “Send-Off Party” for International Junior Miss Alabama Teen, Taylor Jones. THE SOUTHERN REVELRY AT OVERALL COMPANY The Overall Company will present The Southern Revelry, a celebration of Southern fashion, food, art and music on Saturday, July 27, from 3 p.m. until 12 a.m. Tickets are $10 in advance and can be purchased at www.southernrevelry.com or at the door for $12. The event will feature all types of beverage tastings including wine, tea, coffee, beer and much more. GREAT GROWN-UP SPELLING BEE The Public Relations Council of Alabama will host the Great Grown-Up Spelling Bee on July 25 at 5:00 p.m. at Saugahatchee Country Club. The entire community is invited to enjoy hors d’ouevres, cocktails, door prizes and speed-spelling! Tickets are $20 at the door. Raffle tickets are $5 each or five for $20 and you do not have to be present to win. For tickets or more information, email [email protected]. The annual event raises thousands of dollars for the Lee County Literacy Coalition each year.

ALL IN CROSSFIT TO HOST BENEFIT WORKOUT ALL IN CrossFit will host a fundraiser on Saturday, July 20, to raise money for Hope for Cures, a nonprofit organization that is helping in the fight against catastrophic children's illnesses. The entire community is invited to participate in the group workout at 9 a.m. for a suggested donation of at least $10. No CrossFit experience is required to participate, and the workout can be scaled to your fitness ability. All donations are tax deductible.
ALL IN is combining its fundraising efforts to raise money in the name of Carly Parker. Carly Parker is a courageous 13-year-old in Auburn who was diagnosed with mesenchymal chondrosarcoma on November 21, 2007. Unfortunately, Carly's cancer is not in remission, and she continues to battle this disease on a daily basis. Her mother, Miki, is a member of ALL IN CrossFit.

LIFESOUTH SUMMER HIGH SCHOOL/COLLEGE BLOOD DRIVE LifeSouth will host two summer high school/college blood drives on July 16 and 17 from noon-7 p.m. in the Old Navy parking lot at Tiger Town. The events will feature special t-shirts, food, music, tie-dyeing stations, face painting and lots more. Every donor
will be put in a drawing for a flat screen TV. Summer months are particularly difficult on the community blood supply. LifeSouth provides 100 % of EAMC’s blood supply.

AUBURN PARKS AND RECREATION UPCOMING EVENTS July 19 Float-N-Movie Featuring Finding Nemo: Join the staff of the Auburn City Pools for a Float-N-Movie featuring Finding Nemo on Friday, July 19, at Samford Pool. Gates open at 8:15 p.m., followed by the movie at 8:30 p.m. Attendees are encouraged to bring their own floats and arrive early to find the perfect viewing spot in the pool. Chairs are welcome on the pool deck. Please note, capacity is limited and attendees will be admitted on a first come, first serve basis. Admission is $2/person or FREE for 2013 Splash Pass holders.
