Inverted roof

Note drainage level:

The drainage of an inverted roof with thermal insulation above the roof sealing membrane requires that the drainage levels are determined.

Possible drainage levels:

1. on the sealing membrane2. above the thermal insulation3. above the gravel layer

In addition a layer of gravel or vegetation is often placed over the thermal insulation providing some load on it:

If a layer of gravel or vegetation is present, the corresponding discharge coefficient must be included in the dimensioning calculation.

The emergency drainage must be arranged above the water level planned for the main drainage, and

should be agreed with the LORO Service Team.
