This year event Promoter and Auction coordinator, Byron Cooper, ex-pects 200 cars in the Spring Auction, with 40 cars on Friday and over 150 addi-tional cars on Saturday. Auction times will be Friday at 2 PM and Saturday at 10 AM. All year model Corvettes will be auctioned as well as 25 year old Classics. The Auction is open to all Classic and Collector cars, Muscle cars and Covettes. Visit our website to view pre-registered cars...corvetteexpo.com. Again this year, Thompson Carr Auctioneers will be the Event Auctioneers and will handle all the sales transactions. Thompson Carr and Cooper Events offer “Same Day Pay“ to sellers. For all the Auction rules, go to: corvetteexpo.com. A good selection of cars has already been consigned for the Auction on March 25 and 26 and several at no reserve are in the line-up for Friday. As an in-centive for early consignors, Corvette Expo offers a $100 consignment fee for all Friday cars and the first 10 run numbers on Saturday are also available for only $100. Prime time numbers for Saturday are available and multi-car discounts are offered to dealers and collectors with 4 or more cars to consign. MasterCard and Visa are acceptable forms of payment for consignors. Remember, register your car at No reserve and we will waive the registration fee. To consign a car to the Auc-tion, call the Cooper Events office at (865) 687-3976. Register your car early to take advantage of our Web, E-mail, and Print advertising. Show Cars on display inside the Events Center. 2 PM Auction time in the Events Center. Day one of the Thompson Carr Collector Auction. 4 PM Park ‘N’ Show awards at the DJ Trailer. 6 PM ‘Corvettes Cruise the Smokies’ leaves the Events Center from the Corvette Only parking lot. Event closed security on duty.

The new "Park N' Show" Event at Corvette Expo is for Corvette owners who are not interested in entering the judged competition show going on inside the Events Center. You can park and show your Corvette on Friday and /or Saturday at the Events Center Corvette Parking lot. Two separate shows will be held, one on Friday and one on Satur-day. Awards will be given to the Top 10 Corvettes on each day. Signs and minimal dis-plays are welcome, however No For Sale signs or Commercial Exhibits will be permitted. Pre-registration is not required simply enter "Park N' Show" upon arrival at the Event on the 25th or 26th. All entrants will receive a Corvette Expo Event dash plaque and windshield sticker. And don't forget on Friday the "Corvettes Cruise the Smokies" leaves the Events Center Corvette parking lot at 6:00 pm with a Sevierville Police Escort. There is no charge to park for Corvettes at the Event and you will be automati-cally entered into "Park and Show". General admission of $10 per person will be charged. upon arrival, you will be given a numbered "Park N' Show" windshield sticker. "Park N' Show" judging will be by number and awards announced at 4:00 at the DJ trailer. To enter the Park N' Show lot, enter at the Participant Gate. Refer to the Map on our web site - click on "Participant" then click on "Parking" and you will see the Map. The Participant gate is behind the Events Center.

HOTRODS

HorsePower and HotRods is the show within a show at Corvette Expo that features Muscle Cars, Classics, and Collector Cars other than Corvettes. This year the featured car in the Horse-Power and HotRods is the Chevy Chevelle. A spe-cial award will be given for the Outstanding Chev-elle of the show. Several classes will be judged and awards will be given at 5:00 PM on Saturday.
