An increasing cost-competitiveness at global level

Even in less sunny regions such as Germany, the cost of solar is decreasing rapidly, reaching 3 €/ct per kWh in the most recent tenders
In 2018, positive political developments (Clean Energy Package, MIP removal) have increased further the competitiveness of solar in Europe
