28 June 2022 to 4 July 2022Frequently asked questionsWhat is a Jamborette?Not a Jamboree, not a Triple S but a large scale Queensland Scouting event that is being offeredto Scouts and Venturer Scouts due to AJ2022 being cancelled.
Who can attend?Any Scout, Venturer Scout, Rover or Leader can attend. Transport options will be available.
Will Triple S be running in 2022?Triple S will not be running next year. QJAM will be running instead so all eligible Scouts andVenturers Scouts can attend.
What's in it for Scouts and Venturer Scouts?Other than a fantastic once in a lifetime adventure, all participants will be able to work onelements of their achievement pathway.
Will I be with my home Unit?Yes, and your home Unit will be joined by Scouts from a few other Scout Groups to form aJamborette Unit of approximately 36 members, just like a Jamboree Troop. Even if you comeon your own, you will be placed with other Scouts you may know.
What will the Jamborette cost?Please go to the QJAM website for an overview of the costs - we will update costs as well as therefund policy so visit the website in the future.
How can I help?There are lots of roles to fill at the Jamborette including but not limited to Line Leaders workingdirectly with the Scouts and Venturer Scouts, being an activity Leader to deliver the amazingprogram we have installed for the Jamborette, logistics, security, welfare and more.
