Aim: See if TV would make kids more aggressive.

• In 1995 they showed kids 3-8 TV in their classrooms (control group was kids in London).

• Then they watched for aggression.• They also interviewed teachers

and parents.Results:• No increase in violence or

aggressive behavior over 5 years.Discussion:• The island community did not put

up with violence.• They may have learned aggressive

behavior from TV, but did not show it.
