PURPOSE OF WORK
The surface exploration program was designed to obtain detailed
geophysical and geochemical results from areas of two mining claim
groups in the Cameron Lake Area of Ontario. The groups are located
approximately one mile north and south/ respectively of the Cameron
Lake gold deposit. This deposit is now subject to underground explor
ation by Echo Bay Mines/ New Insco Resources and Lockwood Petroleums.
The Cream Silver claim blocks were covered by reconnaissance
surveys in 1985. Three areas were indicated by these surveys to be a
focus for additional detailed surface work, designed to identify
specific potential diamond drilling or surface trenching targets.
METHOD OF WORK
Gold mineralization at the Cameron Lake deposit is reported to
occur in close proximity to the Cameron Lake Shear Zone/ considered to
be a splay from the regional Pipestone - Cameron Fault.
There is a probability that similar shear zones/ if they should
be present on the Cream Silver Claims, might be detectable from VLF
responses. Using the Cutler transmitter, VLF profiles were run over
selected areas.
In the past few years, it has been demonstrated that the presence
of gold mineralization in bedrock can often be detected from elevated
geochemical gold values in overlying and "down-ice" glacial sands and
gravel overburden.

PflOCEED/NGS OF GOLD '86 SYMPOSIUM, TORONTO, 1966
-2-
Soil samples were taken of B horizon material at 50 foot and 100
foot intervals along lines for trace quantities (parts per billion)
gold analyses.
Where interesting rock samples could be obtained/ these were anal
ysed for gold content.
VLP responses and soil geochemical results were plotted on separ
ate 1:2400 scale maps.
INTERPRETATION OF RESULTS
SOUTH GROUP
This work was designed to evaluate and extend a massive pyrite
showing located in 1984 near the east boundary of claim K 621387.
The VLF - EM responses indicate that the sulfide mineralization
extends for at least 700 feet southwest, still open in both directions.
Soil samples taken from over this mineralization showed only back
ground gold values/ less than five parts per billion.
The 13 rock samples taken of pyrite-mineralized felsic volcanics
from the vicinity of the conductor axis did not show any strongly
anomalous gold values.
S.E. CORNER GROUP
This work was designed to further evaluate coincident VLF-EM/soil
geochemical and rock geochemical indications located in 1984.
Three VLF - EM conductor axes have been identified.
The northeast axis coincides with the mapped location of the Pipe-
stone - Cameron Fault Zone,
A central and south VLF - Em conductor axes may represent splay
structures from the regional fault zone.
A number of high background to weakly anomalous gold soil values
are found in the vicinity of the latter two conductor axes.
NORTH GROUP
The purpose of this work was to evaluate three areas where the
1984 reconnaissance suggested higher background gold values in sandy
glacial overburden.
A grid of lines oriented N45E was laid out to cover these areas.
VLF readings (Cutler) and B horizon soil samples were taken along
these lines at 50 and 100 foot intervals.
The VLF survey located several conductor axes/ striking south
west. One of these/ near the baseline/ was traced for a length of
4800 feet.
Along the western half of the above VLF - EM conductor axis/
high background and definitely anomalous soil geochemical gold values
are present on some lines.
-4-
There is rough corresponce between the geochemical results in the
1984 and 1986 surveys. The 1986 survey showed a lower background level
due either to analytical or sampling procedure^.
RECOMMENDATIONS
Three diamond drill holes can be recommended from the data obtained.
A. North Group - Collar at 2 * 00 S - 50 W
Drill N 45 E for 400 feet
B. S.E. Corner Group - Collar at 750' south - 450' east of
Post 4 - K621364 - drill N 30 E for 450 feet
C. Collar at 450' south of Post 1 - K 621351

Signed.
