Our Faculty

Faculty members at the Colleges of Law are experienced attorneys and judges who are

also talented educators. Many have honed their teaching skills through decades of

teaching at the Colleges. All have taken and passed at least one State Bar Exam.

Our professors bring a wealth of real-world understanding into the classroom, creating a

professional but supportive environment where aspiring lawyers can learn their craft.

They represent a broad spectrum of legal careers, from district attorneys and public

defenders who labor in the criminal courts to those who handle civil litigation and

transactional matters on behalf of private clients.

Among our faculty are several members of the judiciary, including judges and

commissioners, and numerous attorneys who serve in leadership roles in the legal

community. A significant number of our professors are judicial research attorneys, who

support appellate justices and superior court judges in drafting their legal decisions.

Because our professors are actively engaged in the legal profession, they can—and do—

help students understand how the legal system really works.
