RENOVATIONS UPDATE

Grandover Resort completed a major room renovation, as well as other updates around the property, in 2017/2018.

Guest rooms are updated in neutral tones of beige and gray with streamlined yet comfortable furnishings including wingback chair with ottoman, and new custom Stearns & Foster mattresses designed exclusively for Grandover Resort. The spacious bathroom features a full shower with rain-showerhead and glass wall. Modern and custom artwork and accent pieces complete the transformation.

Each guest room features a wet bar with mini-refrigerator, bathrobes for guest use during their stay, in-room temperature controls, 42” flat panel television, and a safe for valuables.

Other updates around the Resort include the complete renovation of the Spa, new lobby furnishings, and updated décor in Di Valletta Restaurant.

The indoor/outdoor swimming pool was renovated and features new exterior stone decking, landscaping, outdoor lounge furniture and shade cabanas.

To the delight of our golfers, the greens on the East Golf Course were changed to Bermuda grass in the Summer of 2017.

And our tennis playing guests will enjoy the four re-surfaced state-of-the art clay courts.

DiValletta Restaurant - A favorite of local executives for deal-making in genteel, Southern style, AAA Award-winning Di Valletta Restaurant is a culinary tour de force. The elegant setting is as delightful as the ever-fresh menu offerings for breakfast, lunch and dinner. A stunning hand-painted mural spans the ceiling above, and floor-to-ceiling windows offer breathtaking views of Grandover’s classical gardens.

1808 Bar – Adjacent to DiValletta, cocktails are enjoyed in gentlemen’s club comfort in the 1808 Bar equipped with two expansive stone fireplaces that crackle with warmth in fall and winter. Look for local entertainment on the weekends.

Café Expresso - Those in search of a casual bite for breakfast, lunch or dinner may opt for Café Expresso, conveniently located near the golf courses. Indoor and outdoor seating is available along with billiards tables, shuffleboard and large screen TV’s.

19 & Timber – Our newest bar offering, 19 & Timber is more than the typical 19th hole. Featuring local craft beer, a creative pub menu, large screen TV’s, and prints of Greensboro’s industrial and social history.
