Recently the city installed its first military banner under the Salute to our Military Heroes banner program. This banner celebrates Lt. Col. Mario Carazo and decorates the 2900 block Roosevelt Street. Under this program, banners will display a military hero’s name, picture and recognize the branch of the armed services in which the individual serves. Enhancing your businesses leads to retail success, enjoyable customer experience

After enjoying a meal at a Village restaurant, it is common to see residents wandering around the Village window shopping. Because the aesthetic quality of the physical space is important to an enjoyable customer experience and retail success, the Redevelopment Agency is reminding Village businesses and/or property owners that improvement grants are still available to assist them in updating the look of their storefronts/buildings and to improve their “street appeal”. These grants can help retailers to reinvent themselves and to create that complete shopping experience.
