“I cannot begin to express how grateful

I am in receiving this scholarship. My

plan after obtaining my Bachelor’s

degree is to pursue a Ph.D. in

Economics. With no immediate family

in the U.S., and no financial support

from family, I can now direct all my

attention and energy toward my

academic goals.”

– Catherine Ou, Economics

“I would like to thank you for the scholar-

ships throughout my academic career at

CSUSB. Your financial support has greatly

assisted me in furthering my collegiate

career in completing my degree in

Criminal Justice.”

– Donald Anastasi, Criminal Justice

“Through the generosity of the Mountain Com-

munities Scholarship, I have been given the op-

portunity to expand my knowledge and have

experienced tremendous personal and

professional growth.”
