Water hyacinth
Water hyacinth grows rapidly. In the past, it was considered as
environmentally unfriendly with no commercial value. It is now
possible to harvest water hyacinth commercially and refine it to
produce fibre which we use to make exotic products such as
placemats and table runners. We also use this fibre to manufacture
picture frames, mirrors and storage boxes.

Mendong is a type of grass indigenous to Java, Kalimantan, and Bali. It can
be adapted to a variety of other uses for which a strong and durable fibre is
required. As well as traditional floor coverings we use this fibre in the
manufacture of storage boxes, placemats and table runners.

Pandanus is a small tree that grows up to 6m high. Its foliage is
fibrous and appears similar to pineapple leaves. We also use
this fibre to manufacture floormat, placemat and storage boxes.
