Elitor Electric Ignitor

Assembly mould and handel clamp with

bolt and preheat with a butane torch to

ensure that mould is entirely dry

Place retaining disk ensuring the disk sits

well at the base of the weld metal cavity

Insert the connector with PCB ignitor strip

(KTA023) on the side hole of the mould lid.

After completed reaction, wait for 2-3

minutes to cool down before removing

weld connection.

Switch the power button to the “ ON ”

position

Press the “ IGNITOR ” button on hold until

alarm 5 sec.exothermic reaction is

initiated. Place“ OFF ” button

Pour a recommended size of weld metal

into the mould crucible Check for leaks

of weld metal Repeat step 4 in case of leak

Then, clean the surface of conductor with

a cable clean brush and/or preheat with

that conductor is entirely dry

INSTRUCTION

Check mould tag to be welded and propercartridge size. Assembly mould and handleclamp with bolt and preheat with a butanetorch to ensure that mould is entirely dry

Insert the steel disc to seat on cavity

properlyPour weld metal powder into the mould

If notice powder leakage, please return to

step 4 again and pour starting powder on

surface metal powder.

Pour starting powder into hole on top of

mould lid.

Place conductor into the mould snugly,

leave the space 2-3 mm. between the end

of conductor for better molten copper alloy

flow.Then, tighten handle clamp.

Insert the connector with PCB ignitor

strip on the side hole of the mould lid.Switch the power button to the “ ON ”

position

insert the PCB KTA 023SP ignitor strip

into the connector of ELITOR IGNITOR

Completed Kumwell connectionPress the “IGNITOR” button on hold until

alarm 5 Sec. exothermic reaction is

initiated. Place “OFF” button

Then, clean the surface of conductor with

a cable clean brush and/or preheat with

butance torch again in order to ensure that

conductor is entirely dry

 After completed reaction, wait for 2-3

minutes to cool down before removing

weld connection. Open the mould,

remove slag with scrapper and clean with

the mould brush.
