Global Search and Redact Global search feature facilitates searching of terms across all files in current casebook and it covers cell values, comments, text boxes, header & footer and sheet names. Reviewers have options to apply mass redaction of term across multiple workbooks in seconds. It also supports search and redaction of regular expression patterns. The search of date-value pulls out dates in any format. Powerful search result navigator facilitates jumping directly on the cell containing the responsive value in any workbook in the current casebook. The Search term or regular expression is stored for future reference and quick browsing.

Local Search and Redact Workbook level search provides options to search keyword or regular expression pattern in current workbook, worksheet or selected cells as well as comments, text boxes, header & footer and sheet names. Just like global search, reviewers have options to mass redact whole cells or part of the cell value responsive to the search term. Quick navigation through results allows reviewers to check values before applying mass redaction. All the date values in a workbook can be searched in just a mouse click and can be mass redacted.

PII & KEYWORD REDACTION

Auto-identification and redaction of PII

Identify SSN, major bank card numbers, and birth dates from workbooks and mark in the database so they can be mass redacted across casebook in mouse clicks, without reviewers requiring to open each workbook.

Custom PII Types Administrators have options to add new PII types or search terms, run searches, and display values to the reviewers. Newly created search terms will be automatically applied to the newly loaded documents.

HIGH PERFORMANCE CLOUD BASED TECHNOLOGY

Data and files can be stored in client’s data center or any cloud service. Centralized storage supports full audit and user work history for future reference. Exolution performs thousands of redactions in seconds across multiple workbooks at once.

COLOR CODED REDACTIONS

There is no need to tag or type reasons of redaction every time it is applied because the redaction reasons or types are associated with different colors. Administrators can create new redaction types.

REAL-TIME PROPAGATION TO DUPLICATE SHEETS

Redactions are automatically propagated to duplicate sheets as users apply redactions to any sheets. It’s in real-time, so no need to run post-processes to redact duplicates sheets & files. The duplicate preview window displays the redactions on duplicate sheets.

BLAZING-FAST REDACTION EXPLORER

Powerful and fast explorer provides users a glance at the workbook’s content including PII & redactions, and facilitates mass redactions in a few clicks. Reviewers can browse through the redactions and delete them.

HIDE EMPTY ROWS & COLUMNS

This feature identifies consecutive empty rows and columns anywhere in the workbook, and hide if reviewers choose. This allows reviewers to focus on data and ensure that there is no data in the far rows or columns gone unnoticed.

FLATTENING

Flattening process unhide sheets, rows & columns, force-unhide password-protected hidden content, replaces formulas, pivot tables & filters with text while preserving formatting, replaces embedded objects and charts with pictures, remove external references like hyperlinks and auto-fit rows & columns. In short, exposes all hidden data and freeze dynamic content to its last appearance in the spreadsheet to make it readable and more reliable to review & redact.

INVERSE REDACTION

Worksheet and workbook level inverse-redaction saves a lot of time by providing users options to redact entire worksheet or workbook except for small area. Inverse-redaction can be applied to cells, comments, shapes and text boxes.

DISPLAY ALL COMMENTS

Reviewers have options to make all comments visible or invisible simultaneously for easy navigation.

CONVERSION TO BLACK & WHITE

Reviewers have options to convert all worksheets to black & white so cells with same font color and background color are not missed. Reverting back to the original colors is also supported. Redaction colors are preserved during both the operations.

DOCUMENT BATCHING

To facilitate work distribution among reviewers, Exolution supports the creation of batches. Each reviewer can work only on the batches assigned to him/her.

FILE LOAD & EXPORT OPTIONS

Administrators have options to load files in casebook and create batches. Reviewers can access them after quick flattening and indexing process. Administrators can export documents with permanent redactions on the batch of files. Reviewers have options to download redacted/Un-redacted version of files in his/her batch.
