1. At Marah the bitter water was sweetened when Moses was
obedient to Yahwehs com-mand. Are there any instances in your life
where you have thrown wood (the cross)into your problem or
situation? (Exodus 15:22+, 1 Corinthians 10:1-6, 10-12)
2. God provided the Israelites with everything they needed to
survive, as well as the quailswhich they wantedbut didnt really
need. Can you be satisfied with Gods provision foryour journey?

Yahweh said to Moses, Collect me seventy of the elders of Israel,
men you know to
be the peoples elders and scribes. Bring them to the Tent of
Meeting, and let them stand beside you there. I
shall come down and talk to you there and shall take some of the
spirit which is on you and put it on them.Then they will bear the
burden of the people with you, and you will no longer have to bear
it on your own.

Jesse, and a branch shall grow out of
his roots. And the Spirit of the Lord shall rest upon
him...5Exodus 17:8-13 I will stand on the top of the hill with the
rod of God in my hand. So Joshua did as
Moses told him, and fought with Amalek; and Moses, Aaron, and
Hur went up to the top of the hill. Whenever
Moses held up his hand, Israel prevailed; and whenever he
lowered his hand, Amalek prevailed. But Moses
hands grew weary; so they took a stone and put it under him, and
he sat upon it, and Aaron and Hur held up
his hands, one on one side, and the other on the other side; so
his hands were steady until the going down of

Jacobs victories; through you we conquered our
opponents, in your name we trampled down those who rose up
against us. For my trust was not in my bow,
