AASD Online Enrollment- EXISTING FAMILIES -

A Guide to use the AASD online enrollment system.

This guide is only for parents/guardians who have an existing Infinite Campus Portal username and password.

If you forgot your username and password, please contact the AASD IT Helpdesk at 920-993-7062 option 1, to retrieve your account information.

Existing Parent/Guardian Login Process

If you are a parent/guardian of an existing AASD student, you can login at portal.aasd.k12.wi.us using your Infinite Campus Portal username and password.

You will also select this option if you have an existing student in the AASD, and have another child in the household who is new to the AASD (for example, enrolling a new 4K student who is the sibling of a current grade 4 student).

Additional information regarding the AASD online enrollment process and building registration dates can be found at your school website(s) under Our School > Registration.

The recommended internet browsers are Google Chrome, and Firefox.

**Please note the process is best completed on a desktop or laptop computer, mobile devices are not recommended.

Existing parents/guardians can begin the registration process at portal.aasd.k12.wi.us.

A parent/guardian should enter their Infinite Campus Portal username and password.

Beginning on June 10, 2019, the Portal website will be updated to Campus Parent. With the new and improved website, comes a new look.

In order to access Online Registration through the new website, please do the following:

● In the upper left corner, click on the 3 horizontal lines to expand the left column.

● When the left column displays, please click on More at the bottom

● Click on Online Registration towards the bottom of the list

● Once you click on Online Registration, please select the appropriate option for existing or new students.

Parents/guardians should see a list of their existing AASD students. Verify that the UPCOMING school year (in this case “19-20”) is selected for the required registration year and select the “Begin Registration” button when ready.

You will need to type in your name as an electronic certification, as well as provide your signature. Please use your mouse to “write” your signature. Please click the blue “Submit” button when ready.

Click the “Begin” button to start the online registration process.

At this point, you will notice a progress row with sections for student household, parents, emergency contacts, additional household members, and student information. Each section has multiple tabs to enter information.

Begin by confirming or editing the primary home phone number and choosing notification preferences and click the “Next” button.

Confirm or edit the home address of the student and click “Next”. Continue through all the fields in the “Student Primary Household” section. When finished, click “Save/Continue” to go to the next section.

At the Parent/Guardian section, you will notice any existing parents/guardians for the student registration. You will need to click the “Edit” button to confirm or edit required information. You may also enter in a new parent/guardian if needed.

Repeat this section for any new parent/guardian as needed, including basic demographic and contact information. You will need to enter in the parent/guardian’s date of birth and gender as a security feature. Click the “Save/Continue” button when ready.

Please add required and optional Parent/Guardian demographics, click “Next” when ready. Continue through the fields in the Parent/Guardian section. When finished, click “Save/Continue” to go to the next section.

Please add any new Emergency Contact as needed, including basic demographic and contact verification. Continue through the fields in the Emergency Contact section. When finished, click “Save/Continue” to go to the next section. *** Please note, at least ONE Emergency Contact is required for the AASD.

If you have children in your household that are not yet of school-age, please enter basic demographic information in the Additional Household Members tab. If you have previously entered these younger siblings, and one of these children is now school-age, please click “Please check this box if you wish to register this student for the upcoming school year.” When finished, click “Save/Continue” to go to the next section.

At the student section, parents/guardians should see existing AASD students listed. You will need to click the “Edit” button to confirm and/or edit required information.

The student section is the last section to complete prior to submission.

You will confirm/edit the following required and optional information regarding the existing student.

● Demographics***● Race/Ethnicity***● Housing● Language● Relationships to Contacts● Health Information● Emergency School Closing preferences● Approval of Release Agreements● Review of District/School Policies

*** Areas shown with grey text are informational only. Please contact your child’s school if any of this information needs to be corrected/adjusted.

Click “Next” when ready.

Continue through the fields in the Student section. When finished, click “Save/Continue” to go to the next section.

Repeat this section for any additional students. When finished, click the “Save/Continue” button.

You can review any enrollment material by clicking on a top menu link or selecting the Application Summary PDF.

Once you verify that all of the information is correct, click the large red “Submit” button on the page. Please close your browser window if you are on a shared computer.

Registration Complete. Thank you!

You have now completed the online registration process for existing parents and students. Shortly, you will receive an email confirming receipt of your registration. In the next few weeks, you will also receive an email with additional details regarding the approval of your registration.

Once the online registration process is complete, attendance at on-site building registration is NOT REQUIRED. **Please see your student’s school website for information regarding on-site registration sessions and “Meet and Greet” (back to school) events.

Payment of student fees and completion of the Federal Meal Benefit Application can be completed online through the Campus Portal beginning in July.
