Dear Exhibitor/Sponsor,On behalf of the Planning Committee for the Kiawah Eye meeting, we invite you to participate as an exhibitor and/or sponsor at the 2015 meeting, to take place May 28-30, at the East Beach Conference Center on Kiawah Island in South Carolina.

The 2014 meeting boasted the second largest attendance in our meeting’s history, bringing together more than 300 ophthalmologists from 33 states, along with international attendees. We also received a large number of advance registrations for the 2015 meeting, confidently proving we provide a positive meeting experience year after year for a loyal customer base.

We are hard at work building on this momentum to produce another successful and engaging experience — providing you with the ideal opportunity for you to network one-on-one with your target audience.

Here are a few more reasons why attendees rate this one of the top ophthalmology meetings of the year:

• Comprehensive program that includes cataract surgery, surgical glaucoma, cornea, retina essentials and various subspecialty topics to advance their expertise.

• Fresh clinical insight from prominent specialists on challenges ophthalmologists face daily.

• Interactive format featuring debates, roundtables and audience response sessions to foster greater networking between faculty and attendees.

• Valuable CME to keep expertise current and earned while spending 3 days on a beautiful barrier island.

Our attendees will be on Kiawah Island this spring looking for updates, perspective and information on new products, services and equipment. I encourage you to be there to greet them. Contact AMS Exhibit Management to learn how you can increase your exposure and maximize your impact at Kiawah Eye.

We look forward to your participation in our 2015 Meeting.

Sincerely,

About the Meeting

Personalized education makes Kiawah Eye one of the best meetings of the yearThis meeting provides the perfect combination of education, networking and reenergizing for ophthalmologists. In a relaxed setting, faculty and attendees will discuss cases, therapy techniques and surgical strategies while exploring how to apply new diagnostic and treatment modalities to patients. We utilize classroom-style seating to enhance one-on-one interaction between experts and colleagues, as well as question and answer sessions to generate audience participation and ensure no voice gets lost in the crowd.

Target AudienceThis program is designed for comprehensive ophthalmologists.

Educational ObjectivesUpon completion of this course, attendees should be able to:•Assess the latest breakthroughs in the areas of cataract, glaucoma, refractive surgery,

intraocular lenses, age-related macular degeneration and other clinical topics. •Evaluate complicated ophthalmic cases and daily hurdles encountered in the

operating room to better apply the most advanced techniques and technology that benefits the patient.

• Improve surgical practice by observing tips, techniques, and videos from experts explaining how their surgical methods went from good to great.

•Assess counseling techniques for difficult or dissatisfied patients pre- and postoperatively, to achieve and maintaina positive relationship with them.

•Examine the latest technological advances in cataract surgery such as femtosecond-assisted cataract surgery, toric, accommodating and multifocal IOLs; relaxing incisions to reverse astigmatism, MIGs, as well as patient selection and preoperative strategies.

•Gain understanding of the latest surgical glaucoma techniques including the use of micro-invasive devices through didactic presentations, video case studies and panel discussion.

•Evaluate various corneal conditions such as corneal ulcers, herpes keratitis, dry eye, blepharitis, and corneal thinning disorders, as well as the overall optimization of the corneal surface prior to surgical procedures, to better apply the correct treatment.

• Identify important topics in oculoplastics that are applicable to the comprehensive ophthalmologist.

•Evaluate retinal disease and understand what is essential for a comprehensive ophthalmologist to know to improve patient outcomes.
