Welcome to Royston Open Secrets 2014Please take a few minutes to read through all the information in this document hopefully it will answer many if not all the questions you may have about the event. If however you need to find out more information on the day there is an information point situated at the entrance to the marquee.

The safety of everyone attending this event is our primary concern.

If you notice something during the event which you think is a safety concern please bring it to the attention of the organisers.

Important Safety InformationVehicle Safety

Maximum vehicle speed on site is 5 mph

No vehicle movements will be allowed between 10:45am and 4:15pm without the permission of the site coordinator: James Dudley (Mobile 07876 581442) or the Historic Vehicle marshals.

You may park at the rear of the marquee for unloading / loading only as shown on the Site Plan. Access to the unloading/loading area is via the car park area nearest the rugby pitch, and will be clearly marked. Once you have unloaded please move your vehicle to the exhibitors parking area before you set up your display.

First Aid

There is a first aid point on site located adjacent to the car display area. You can also report an incident to the information point, located at the marquee entrance, as shown in the diagram below.

Lost Children

The point of contact for lost children is the information point also located at the entrance to the marquee as shown in the diagram.

Electrical equipment

Any electrically operated equipment and extension leads must have been PAT tested and be clearly marked as compliant. The label/sticker must contain the following information:

• Unique identification code to enable equipment to be identifiable• The status of the equipment following the testing i.e. PASS • The date the equipment was tested together with the re-test period or the re-test

dateNo other extension cables will be permitted.

Tables & Chairs/ Floor Area

Each exhibition pitch will be allocated 1 table and 1 chair

The floor of the marquee will be carpeted however the surface will be very uneven in places and care should be taken when setting up to ensure all items are secure and safe.

Please ensure all items located within your allocated area are safely positioned and will NOT fall over or cause an obstruction to anyone.

N.B . Tables cloths will not be supplied so please bring something to cover your table.

Heavy Items

If you need help moving heavy items please ask at the information desk situated at the marquee entrance.

Please do not overload tables with heavy items.

Frequently asked questionsWhere is my stand located?A table showing a list of all exhibitors and the stand locations is located at the end of this document. Please take a moment to familiarise yourself with the site layout, and find out where your stand is located, it will save you time on the day.

There will be a site map and location diagram showing all exhibitor locations at the information point.

When can I Set-up?

The marquee will be available for setting up from 8:30am on the day of the event. Please ensure you are ready by 10:45am. The event will be officially opened at 11:00am

When can I start Packing away?

The event runs until 4:00pm. Exhibitors are requested not to start clearing away until after 4:00pm. You may, at your own risk, leave items in the marquee overnight after the event, however the marquee must be clear by 10:00am the following day.

Where do I park?

You may park at the rear of the marquee for unloading / loading only as shown on the Site Plan. Is there food & drink?The Heath Sports Centre has a fully licensed bar where hot and cold food and drinks can be purchased all day. In addition they will also be a B-B-Q which will be in operation throughout the day.

Where are the toilets?

The Heath Sports Centre has ladies and gents toilets available. Access is from the main bar or the side bar. Additional ladies toilets are available adjacent to the right of the marquee.

What else is happening?There is a FREE Programme available listing the schedule of events and a list of exhibitors.n.b. The information in the programme was correct at time of going to press but may not be fully up to date. Please listen to PA announcements on the day
