About the exhibitor

ABSOLUT is the most creative spirits brand in the world. Every drop of its fine vodka is exclusively made in Sweden from natural ingredients and con-tains no added sugar. The brand has a long heritage of working together with the most brilliant creative minds, from Andy Warhol to Woodkid. The AB-SOLUT FEICHTNER glass is the result of a cooper-ative relationship between Pernod Ricard Austria and the Austrian designer Thomas Feichtner.

About the product

Product: ABSOLUT FEICHTNER Producer: ABSOLUT VODKA Design: Thomas Feichtner, 2014 ABSOLUT VODKA commissioned designer Thomas Feichtner with the design of the ABSOLUT FEICHTNER glass. This glass was to be designed specifically for the Swedish distillery’s finest vodka, ABSOLUT ELYX, and had to reflect the handicraft of the most experienced distillers. This vodka, hand-distilled and rectified in the original copper pot from 1921, was to be complemented by a drinking glass designed by Feichtner. A glass that strikes a careful balance between weight, glass thickness and height.

About the exhibitor

The furniture label Airture [er’tür] by Inge Zehetner together with architect Gerd Zehetner is a small company that gives rise to new perspectives of furni-ture under the slogan “The other side of furniture“. Whilst the geographical and financial distance be-tween manufacturers and customers becomes greater, Airture strives for the very opposite – de-sign, marketing and production all within distances that can be cycled. The manufacturing concept is celebrated and practised with the family-run busi-ness Kohlmaier Wien.

About the product

Product: Journey Chair Producer: Kohlmaier Wien Design: Airture, 2014 The Journey Chair is a statement against the mad-ness that is packaging and the packaging itself forms part of the design. The convertible box is part of the design that forms a table by splitting it apart from the upholstered armchair. Turn the armchair and it becomes a table chair. A small pouf is includ-ed for extra comfort. The rough exterior with scratches and marks left from trips will tell an excel-lent story. The elegant, luxurious upholstery con-trasting inside makes this design a unique creation.

About the exhibitor

The Andrea Baumann factory is a one-woman en-terprise in Sistrans/Tyrol (A). All products are de-signed, manufactured and marketed by Andrea Baumann herself. Each item is handmade, thereby receiving its individual form. The materials are char-acterised by their transparency and brilliance. The objects fascinate with their tremendous stability, which nevertheless has a look of fragility.

About the products

Product: Goldrim bowls, gold bowls & grey bowls Design: Andrea Baumann, 2014 The gold rim bowls, gold bowls and grey porce-lain bowls are shaped by hand with Limoges porce-lain. Shaping by hand without the pottery wheel creates an irregular thickness of the bowl walls and therefore the organic individual shape of each item. The bowls are fired at 1,240°C and gilded at 800°C. The essential quality of the porcelain is its transpar-ency and how it reflects the light. All products are designed for use and are dishwasher-proof.

About the exhibitor

Designer Christian Kröpfl and the brand palatti stand for quality design furniture for sophisticated people and thereby combine criteria such as design, func-tionality and quality at an attractive price-performance ratio. At the centre of all this is the combination of solid wood and steel in different de-signs. With the modern designs and the use of natu-ral and sustainable materials, palatti offers an attrac-tive product range of solid wood tables for the dining and living area.

About the products

Product: KT11 Producer: palatti by SWN Design: Christian Kroepfl, 2014 The KT11 table – suitable for both chairs and corner benches – impresses with a delicate pole construc-tion made from stainless steel shaped tubes, provid-ing maximum legroom. The combination of a frame-work combined with an elegant design makes this gem ideal for your home or office. On top of this reduced and delicate steel truss is an elegant yet simple wood slab reminiscent of the acacia tree canopies found in the African Serengeti. Art and nature are in harmony. Product: KT11 bench Producer: palatti by SWN Design: Christian Kroepfl, 2014 The bench designed for the KT11 table has a simi-lar substructure to the table. Due to the smaller width of the seating surface in contrast to the table top, it requires less support points. Together, the table and bench form a harmonious ensemble in both functional and aesthetic terms.

About the exibitor

Clemens Auer is an Austrian product designer living and working in Vienna. His work focuses on the fields of product design, lighting design and industri-al design. As a designer he seeks both simplicity and captivation. He is interested in the essence, the character of something, in its nature or a gesture, in which he tries to understand it and interpret it into design. During his career, Auer had the chance to work with manufacturers such as Atwater, AHT, Bayer, BP, Doppelmayr, Hansgrohe, Hauser, MAM, Nike/Bauer, Otto Bock, Rolf Benz and XAL, among others.

About the product

Product: watering can Producer: Senions Metalworks Design: Clemens Auer, 2014 The watering can is a watering pot and electric kettle in one; both are used to pour water but are so different in terms of form. It is a source of inspiration. In addition, it fits quite well into the metal works tra-dition of Wiener Werkstaette, especially works by Josef Hoffmann and Kolo Moser. What’s more, it shows an appreciation for classic Art Deco posters showing overly dimensioned steamboats from the front. The watering can is intended for indoor use. Its compact form allows it to be put on a windowsill between flowerpots.

About the product

Product: Parabol/Parabola Producer: Clemens Hanserl & Riess Email Design: Clemens Hanserl, 2010 The Parabol / Parabola series of bowls was de-signed from the need to create a monolithic, func-tional object for presenting foods in an attractive manner. Both the size and the shape of the bowls fit in perfectly with the surroundings and guarantee that foods will be stored and presented in the best way possible. The bowls are made up of two metal blanks joined to form a hollow, which firstly allows foods to cool and secondly to retain heat.

About the product

Product: Alchemy seaters family Design: David Tavcar, 2014 The Alchemy seaters family consists of ultra-light chairs made of 0.3mm thick sheet steel, polyure-thane foam and car paint. The chairs are an innova-tion in industrial production; the surface of the chairs is made before the chairs. The chairs are made from laser cut metal sheets into a uniform size and then finished with car paint. Following that, the interior is filled with polyurethane foam through the legs of the chair. This process enables the construction of ultra light metal chairs that otherwise would not be possi-ble.

About the products

Product: L01 – light zero one Producer: dekappa design Design: Doris Koefer & Julian Gapp, 2013 Inspired by snow level sticks, L01 is an elegant, functional lamp that catches the eye with its originali-ty and customisability in colour and wood. The lamp can be put in an angular or straight position. Thanks to its sophisticated base, the lamp can be used as a direct, indirect or guiding light. The concrete base stabilises the weight of the lamp. The lamp can be moved as easily as a curling stone and brings pleasant lighting to your room thanks to the newest LED technology. Product: L01 metal – light zero one metal Producer: dekappa design Design: Doris Koefer & Julian Gapp, 2014 Based on L01, for L01 metal dekappa uses steel as a main material. The steel is plated with brass or copper. Striped transparent varnishing creates the striped look of the snow level stick. The varnished metal is protected against oxidation and thus the metal keeps its original colour, while the non-treated metal surface will age normally. The L01 metal gets its individual patina over time.

About the exhibitor

EKDESIGN is a design studio founded by Katharina Eisenkoeck. The revival of traditional craft tech-niques brought into a new context is a vital part in Eisenkoeck’s work. Her approach to design is a very personal one; the manufacturing process of the de-sign objects, the refining and finishing are crucial to her. By experimenting with materials and shapes, she offers objects that are both long lasting and unique in terms of design. EKDESIGN is currently based in London (UK), where Eisenkoeck manufac-tures all her products by hand.

About the products

Product: Nomadic light Design: Katharina Eisenkoeck, 2013 Nomadic light is a portable lamp crafted out of leather and concrete. A warm white LED light shines from a lightweight concrete base around which there is a leather strap that meanders around the concrete base that makes the lamp transportable. The fusion of the materials with a specially designed charging method transforms Nomadic Light into a multifunc-tional lamp. The lamp can be suspended or placed depending on preference. The lights are charged on an accompanying shelf, which automatically charges the lamp once it is placed on it.

Product images

Product: Wander lamp Design: Katharina Eisenkoeck, 2014 Wander Lamp is a lamp made of concrete; sur-rounded by a slender metal frame, there are two possible positions which create different lighting atmospheres. The lamp gives off a warm, dim light when pointing downwards, and lights up the room when pointing upwards. A lightweight fibre concrete mix was developed to guarantee simple handling. The lighting object is equipped with LEDs and comes with either a brass or a copper frame. Each lamp is individually crafted by hand and therefore has its very own, unique concrete mixing formula. It is thus possible to create multi-faceted concrete chipboard that ranges in colour from light grey to almost black.

About the exhibitor

Under the company name eL Be, Lena Bauern-berger designs patterns for pottery and produces them in small series in Lower Austria. She paints on ceramic ingots in a special traditional technique and she also combines ceramic with leather, wood, glass, textile and metal elements. Unique everyday objects are thus produced, characterised by simplici-ty in appearance and use, made with humour and attention to detail. Many works can be personalised to customers request.

About the products

Product: Feel like home Design: Lena Bauernberger, 2013/2015 Feel like home is the leading accessory for living areas, business premises, hotels and various public spaces. A rectangular ceramic vase and a lamp base are painted by hand with the floor plan of the client, scale and all the details required for the guest to navigate. Guests feel welcome and can use the control system to their orientation. Consoles and sideboards are a perfect location for the objects, as the vase and lamp have a small depth. The aesthet-ics of the floor plans is thus combined with practical benefits.

Product images

Product: Plate extensions Design: Lena Bauernberger, 2014/2015 Rectangular plates are optically extended by draw-ing linen yarns through holes on the lateral side of the plate and they are then carefully linked. The inspiration for Plate extensions were traditional Austrian shoulder scarfs as well as exclusive table linen – sometimes they have knotted fringes. Bauernberger’s desire was to permanently connect ceramic with textile elements, by claiming that they can be used as an object of utility. These dishes are suitable for the presentation of fruit, bread, cakes, cookies and candy.

About the product

The light quality is comparable to natural daylight when it comes to CRI (Colour Render-ing Index), light temperature, light intensity and UV content. These characteristics induce biological effects that cannot be achieved with LED lamps. In addition, the Instantdaylite° Micro REL can be dimmed as re-quired, creating a moonlit effect at the lowest level (re-flected daylight).

Feicht-ner’s formal approach that employs a clever combina-tion of clear surfaces and radiuses is at the forefront of this. Two phases run diametrically into one another lending this cutlery a highly individual character. No. 192 is the newest of 192 different cutlery sets by Jaro-sinski & Vaugoin.

Some spring wire and time. Fe / Zn is a protest in object form. It defines issues of our times, questioning our aesthet-ic and political demands on art and design. The spring coils, bare of all frills, simple and honest, cut into the flesh of our present tense, carrying their silent threat out of the shadows. Fe / Zn is a story of creation – lively, vibrant and dan-gerous.

About the exhibitor

The guiding design principle of designer Klemens Schillinger is the “reduction of materials”. His goal is to develop simple yet well thought-out products, design methods and DIY recipes. This can result in almost self-evident product solutions with a frugal amount of charm, minimal use of materials and poetic accent.

About the product

Product: Lamp 11811 Design: Klemens Schillinger, 2013 Lamp 11811 is a reading and work lamp that is ex-tremely versatile thanks to a trusted rotary. Due to low voltage LEDs and specially designed slip rings, the power is transmitted through the two metal bows that hold the light source. The disc shaped light-source therefore has maximum rotation freedom.

About the exhibitor

In 1823, master glazier Josef Lobmeyr opened his first little glass business in the heart of Vienna. Since then, six generations have unveiled the mira-cle of glass. Together with designers like Josef Hoffmann, Adolf Loos, Ted Muehling, Marco Dessí, POLKA, Mark Braun, Sebastian Menschhorn and Formafantasma, classic pieces of handmade crys-tal and chandeliers emerged, which are appreciat-ed by connoisseurs all over the world. Lobmeyr crystal can be found in collections like the MoMA New York (USA), V&A London (UK) and the MAK in Vienna.

About the product

Product: Drinking set no. 248 “Loos” Producer: LOBMEYR Design: Adolf Loos, 1931 With his clear, uncompromising concept of form, archi-tect Adolf Loos was way ahead of his time. This tum-bler service has the characteristic diamond-cut at the base. Each line is cut by hand and carefully matt-polished. The series paved the way for modern glass design, a Lobmeyr classic since 1931. The well-documented design process started with a sketch showing five tumblers. Those have been executed recently and confronted with the final series, devel-oped in 1931.

About the product

Product: Still Producer: LOBMEYR Design: Formafantasma, 2014 Still is a collection of carefully engraved crystals, designed to serve the most humble and fundamen-tal of all drinks – tap water. The collection pairs crystal with copper and activated charcoal to im-prove the taste of tap water. The craftsmanship expressed in the engravings, the aerial proportions of the copper filters and their subtle religious refer-ences invite the user to handle the pieces carefully, thereby transforming these gestures into a daily ritual of water purification.

About the product

Product: Captured Producer: LOBMEYR Design: Michael Anastassiades, 2012/2015 (rede-signed) Light refracts in crystal. The natural interaction be-tween these two elements in a fascinating object has been the vision of this collaboration. A minimal, ele-gant and strong metal structure, typical of Michael Anastassiades’ work, gives hold and position to pre-cious crystal parts refined by Lobmeyr. The central glass sphere cut in alternative ways guards the light source and refracts the light. Two hemispheres of different larger diameters indicate further orbits. Light, shade and the interaction between geometry and space make these exciting objects. The series con-sists of a table light, a floor light and a suspension light.

About the exhibitor

Mobility begins in the mind! Lohnerwerke was founded in 1821 in Vienna. Starting out as carriage builders – in 1900 the world’s first electric car, the Lohner-Porsche, was built –, they went on to spe-cialise in aircrafts, mopeds and scooters. In 2010, after a 40-year break, Andreas Lohner re-established Lohnerwerke. He is inspired to build something futuristic with excellent design. The re-sult is double-seater e-bikes and scooters for urban life, with electric engines – calm, passionate, aes-thetical and free of harmful emissions. Lohner mo-bility for the urban value of living. Product images

About the products

Product: Lohner LEA Producer: Lohnerwerke Design: Valentin Vodev, 2015 Lohner LEA is linked to the success story of the L125 scooter in the 1950s. Designer Valentin Vodev has, to some extent, taken on board characteristics of the L125, but completely re-interpreting it. Large side sur-faces, an imposing front and the elegant lines make the LEA stand out from common or garden scooters. Its appearance is solid and stable, giving a feeling of security and standing out as an elegant piece of work. Cruising through the city with this powerful electric scooter is a truly enjoyable experience. Product: Lohner Stroler Producer: Lohnerwerke Design: Clarissa Prunbauer, 2014 The e-bike, in all its facets, was invented long ago – the moped is no longer contemporary. The e-bike therefore had to be improved by providing more func-tionality – in particular by fitting two seats – and the moped had to be adapted in order to be quiet and free of harmful emissions. This combination led to a new class of vehicle: the Lohner Stroler - a two-seater e-bike with storage space. Its unique design blends ur-ban lifestyle with emotion, thanks to a high-performance electric drive.

About the product

Product: Foldaway Producer: Umbra Design: Louisa Köber & Marie Mattner, 2014 By reducing the clothing hanger to its essential ele-ments, a new hanger design was created; a rope runs through a bent metal tube and ends within the hook. Once hanging, Foldaway regains its triangular shape and supports the piece of clothing perfectly. The rope even allows the hanger to fit into narrow collars and reduces its size for traveling purposes. Umbra, as a manufacturer and reseller based in Toronto (CDN), has been a great partner throughout the collaboration.

About the exhibitor

mafi is an Austrian family-run business that has, over the last 100 years, gone from being a sawmill, to a wooden ceiling production plant, to a natural wooden floor manufacturer. Its art has always been to develop distinct shapes borrowed from nature. For mafi, the step from a floor to a piece of furniture equates to the transformation between a surface and a narrow space, as well as the shift from the two-dimensional to the three-dimensional. Howev-er, this also goes hand-in-hand with the company making its materials more tangible and turning the correlation between wood and design into some-thing that you really can see and feel.

About the product

Product: SR5Q4 Producer: mafi Design: fimu@mafi, 2015 The idea of SR5Q4 is to create a piece of furniture which allows the consumer to experience true individ-uality. A shelf, although theoretically infinite, is never-theless self-contained and features an echoing design. The design is cubic in shape and, at the same time, plays around with imperfection at the edges. As a counterpart to the naturally grown structure of the wood, the checked pattern takes clear lines and re-flects the furniture’s own unique shape.

The results extend far beyond objects being purely functional. She strives to create design that can be both experienced intuitively and used uni-versally. **Featured by CREATIVE REGION Linz & Upper Austria – http://www.creativeregion.org

About the product

Product: Purzelbock Design: Magdalena Haas, 2014 The Purzelbock is suitable for children aged three and above. Although it may be compact, this single solution can be turned into a step stool, a chair, a see-saw and a wheel barrow. The Purzelbock combines several different functions, in line with the guiding principle of Montessori education, “Help me do it my-self!”. The handles on the side of the step stool make it easy for children to climb up and provide stability at the same time. When turned on their own axes, the handles become the base of the see-saw. Turn the handles again, and the Purzelbock is turned into a wheel barrow. The little piece of furniture can thus be moved around with ease and is perfect for transporting children’s toys.

About the product

Product: Buchheimer Producer: Nils Holger Moormann Design: Martin Breuer Bono, 2014 How much? How much space do you really need to hold a book? All you have to do is support the centre of gravity to prevent the book from falling sideways! Buchheimer is a bookcase that offers these functions with a minimalist structure. The object stands on one leg and is fixed to the wall at an angle of 5°. The weight of the stored books helps to enhance the book-case’s stability. Buchheimer stores and showcases 0.42 metres of books.

About the product

Product: THE EDGE.01 Producer: 3A Composites/AMARI Austria GmbH Design: Martin Mostböck, 2014 The concept of floor lamp THE EDGE.01 was to cre-ate a glowing, sculptural body; a lamp with indirect light distribution. The body is made of an aluminium composite panel that is usually used for facade clad-dings. Because of its particular material property, the material is used now in a new field of application – a lamps body. By milling and cutting the panels on one side, the material can be folded into form within minutes. This trick (trans)forms a light, stiff and self-supporting construction.

A high-quality round brass profile takes the form of a simple stool for everyday use, which is ro-bust despite its elegant proportions. The handcrafted, naturally tanned leather creates an interesting contrast with the shiny metal surface. The stool is available in two different metallic finishes: brass and steel. Two types of side tables complement the Tilda product family. Matching the appearance of the metal legs, the tabletop is made of coloured glass or wood with a glossy finish.

About the product

Product: Twins Producer: Verzellesi srl Design:Anna Popelka & Georg Poduschka, 2013 Anna Popelka and Georg Poduschka, the inventors of the Enzi, developed a new, multi-functional urban element. Each Twin is made out of two identical units that can be combined with the two primary composi-tions – duck and swan. The elements are made out of hollow polyethylene shapes in the sizes medium and large that can be filled with water and sand to prevent movement by any third parties. Similar to its prede-cessor, the Enzi, the Twins provoke performative reac-tions in the users. The combinatorics of the Twins is greatly versatile; according to the number of used outdoor seating elements, a wide variety of combina-tions can be formed by aligning the length side or width side of a single Twin. The Twins were first used at the central cultural area of Košice (SK), European Cultural Capital of the year 2013.

Silhouette eye-wear has accompanied astronauts into outer space on 35 missions, has travelled around the world with the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra, and is worn by a number of household names in entertainment, business, politics and lifestyle. About the product

Product: Titan Pure Producer: Silhouette Design: Silhouette International, 2015 How can you improve and further minimalize eyewear that has already been divested of everything superflu-ous? This question was at the heart of the develop-ment process for the new Titan Pure sunglasses. The answer was found in an innovative adhesive technolo-gy whereby the flexible titanium temple is attached directly to the lens. The result: technique takes a back seat to give priority to aesthetics. Thanks to big sun lenses and innovative workmanship, serene moments in the sunshine are a certainty.

About the exhibitor

Rediscover, translate, reshape. Based on the premise that historical building materials are of special value, spolia. makes a point of misappro-priating valuable materials and setting them in a contemporary context. In this way, spolia. harks back to an old cultural strategy of reusing architec-tural heritage and poses a unique challenge to designers. The result of this is limited editions of selected furniture and objects in which the historical structural elements take centre stage.

About the products

Product: The Bolognese Hersteller: spolia. Design: Tino Valentinitsch, 2014 The material used for The Bolognese was salvaged from a villa in Bologna constructed around 1850. Val-entinitsch‘ approach, which consisted of working with the special structures of a two-dimensional surface, produced a remarkable result. The polyhedrons that were produced are a reminiscent of the way in which geometry and perspective were handled with the daz-zling camouflage of the First World War. They entice the observer and invite him to rearrange the objects. The Bolognese, which was intended to be used as either a side table or a stool, can be rotated and is striking not only as a single piece but also in an en-semble. Product: The Scattered Servant Hersteller: spolia. Design: Kim+Heep, 2015 The project Scattered Servant is the result of the pleasure of rediscovery, translation and repurposing. The raw material is the 130-year-old star parquet pan-el flooring of a Viennese piano nobile, which was saved from demolition. No longer usable as flooring in its current condition, the designers have broken down the floor’s original symmetry and rearranged its basic modular components. With the play of reflected light between the individual oak veneer elements, the result remains true to the floor’s original aesthetic quality.

About the exhibitor

Stefan Auberg founded his design studio right after graduating from the Gerrit Rietveld Academy in Amsterdam (NL) in August 2014. The focal point of his design practice is an anthropological analysis of design objects in our society. The work varies from one-off pieces, prototypes and specially built ob-jects for exhibition purposes only, to finalised prod-ucts.

About the products

Product: Preliminary Objects – The Rug Design: Stefan Auberg, 2014 Furniture has identity-building characteristics that are similar to clothes and hairstyle. The industry tries to appeal to the consumers’ urge to be unique with "cus-tomisable" products, mostly by selling empty promis-es. With the help of a hair trimmer, everyone can per-sonalise Auberg’s carpet and make it more repre-sentative of themselves. By trimming the carpet, the underlying layers of colour are revealed, and the con-sumers can let their creativity run wild.

About the products

Product: yps table Producer: TEAM 7 Design: Jacob Strobel, 2015 The generous dimensions of the yps natural wood table do nothing to detract from its elegant, stylish and nimble look as it rests on exposed Y-shaped legs. As the basic shape for the feet, the Y provides a highly stable base, at the same time allowing for optimum legroom. The edges of the tabletop slant gently inward on the underside, giving yps a modern dynamism. Striking details such as the front band and the hand-made triple-layer top are testimony to the great craftsmanship and the proven TEAM 7 quality. Product: aye chair with swivel Producer: TEAM 7 Design: Jacob Strobel, 2015

The seat shell of the aye chair cups the body like a hand. The flexible backrest, ergonomic armrests and the comfortable, elastic seat provide the ultimate in seating comfort. The striking side cut of the backrest accentuates the organic design. The swivel-base model introduces a new aesthetic quality. About the exhibitor

Thomas Feichtner is an established Austrian de-signer. His work in the area of furniture and object design is halfway between industry and handicrafts, mass production and one-of-a-kinds and has been acquired by various design collections. Feichtner designed products for traditional crafters such as Lobmeyr, Neue Wiener Werkstaette, Jarosinski & Vaugoin, TON, Augarten and Carl Mertens, and undertook freelance projects in cooperation with Vitra and FSB. In the year 2011, he was awarded the Austrian State Award for Design. Thomas Feichtner lives and works in Vienna.

About the product

Product: Carbon Chair Producer: DFM Technologies GmbH Design: Thomas Feichtner, 2015 Carbon Chair is a consistently constructive and yet formal and experimental design by Thomas Feichtner. It is a sheet of carbon fibre, which contacts the floor at three points and depicts a line from above and below, positively and negatively. The result is a formal inter-play of inner and outer surfaces – a recurring theme that runs through many of Feichtner's works. Carbon Chair is produced as part of a limited edition of eight pieces.

About the product

Product: Vitória Collection Producer: Neue Wiener Werkstaette Design: Thomas Feichtner, 2015 In comparison to the previous work of Thomas Feichtner for Neue Wiener Werkstaette, the Vitória Collection is a rather smooth and timeless furni-ture collection; with intent. All parts, consisting of two chairs, a table and a bench, are carefully at-tuned to each other. The downward tapering legs and the inward drawn chamfers create a unifying design feature. An important part of the collection is its versatility.

About the product

Product: Pipes Lamp Producer: Karboxx S.r.l. Design: Thomas Feichtner, 2015 Pipes stacked one on top of the other to form a lamp. The simple, yet nonetheless refined concept of the Pipes Lamp is Austrian designer Thomas Feichtner’s design for the Italian lighting manufacturer Karboxx. Feichtner took bent segments of pipe that not only measure different lengths, but also have LEDs in-stalled at both ends, and stacked them – with every pipe being at a slight angle to ones before and after. The individual segments, themselves two-dimensional lines, are fanned out to form a round, more unified body. In this way, simply putting the segments togeth-er creates a geometric light object.

The company is only satisfied when it achieves the very best. For VITEO, top quality is an absolute must. The basis for each collection is natural and high-quality materials such as teak, stainless steel or the solid surface Corian®. VITEO furniture is designed and produced in Austria with the highest quality standards. **Featured by the Austrian Furniture Industry – http://moebel.at

About the products

Product: SLIM Wood Collection Producer: XTEC Design: Wolfgang Pichler, 2014 The emotion of an indoor piece of furniture is trans-ferred to the exterior by mixing up the purist material Corian® with the warm material wood. An exciting look is created, as well as many possible applications, as both materials are suitable for indoor and outdoor use. The Corian® seat or top floats above an Iroko sub-structure and impresses with its lightness despite a maximum of stability. This collection is based on the highest quality of craftsmanship, which shows in de-tail. Product: Wanda Producer: XTEC Design: Leonhard Palden, 2009 A luminaire that combines a historical cobblestone and a fishing rod would be exciting enough. But Wanda offers much, much more than that, since it features an LED lamp that provides constant power for 18 hours without needing to be recharged. Highly recommend-ed for bookworms.

VPUR creates rare niche products. Their custom-ers are connoisseurs and darlings of fortune – en-dowed to discover the beautiful and rare. Mass and volume is not their thing. And although VPUR is a small company, they do not rest at the almost per-fect level. They take the time, do their best and are pleased with the result and the satisfaction of their customers. The creations of VPUR mostly arise from the will and desire to improve, simplify and refurbish the everyday lives of their clients.

About the products

Product: SinStella Producer: Avrig SA Glass Factory Design: Vera Purtscher, 2014 While attempting to put an end to the most frequent complaint of innkeepers – the expensive and annoying breakage of glass – VPUR reinvented the art of fine drinking. Not only functional and secure, SinStella embodies fascinating, elegant design. Usual breaking points are eliminated or reduced to an absolute mini-mum. The final design is a beautiful table accessory: SinStella, a small sculpture that glamorises every ta-ble. SinStella is an ideal, congenial partner for creative chefs, whose culinary art is continually served in new variations to surprise and enchant their guests. Product: MoonLashes Producer: Yujin Kreves, Ltd. Design: Vera Purtscher, 2000 The spoon is man’s oldest eating utensil. Recently, the spoon has been refined and was subtly, elegantly and ergonomically developed. To considerably ease the process of eating for both right- and lefthanders, the bowl was placed slightly asymmetrical to the spoon's handle, which fits perfectly in the hand due to weight distribution and shape. An entire cutlery series emerged from the same high standards: the Moon-Lashes.

About the products

Product: „Fat Car“ Sugar Box ZUCCHERIERA Pro-ducer: Wiener Silber Manufactur Design: Erwin Wurm, 2014 Erwin Wurm is bringing his famous “Fat Car” onto the table as the imposing ZUCCHERIERA sugar bowl. He sees it as a tongue-in-cheek reference to the famous Saliera china by Cellini. ZUCCHERIERA – an impos-ing, valuable and ambivalent holder – is hand-forged from pure silver. It is a work of art just as much as it is an object of utility. Every detail, every projection and every indentation has been hammered out by the sil-versmith from a single silver plate, in high-precision fine work involving thousands of hammer blows. It’s a production method which – in terms of the amount of work and expertise involved – comes very close to the method used to create the Saliera, and which is an expression of the highest achievement of the silver-smith’s art. Product: HAMMER lamp Producer: Wiener Silber Manufactur Design: Big Game, 2014 HAMMER lamp combines up-to-date lighting technol-ogy and traditional craftsmanship. The foot of the lamp is a technical component that includes a compact LED light source and holds a solid silver or gold-plated silver reflector that can be tilted in order to adjust the angle of the light. The reflector is made from a hand-hammered sheet of solid silver – a technique called martelé – and it gives the light a certain warmth. The lamp emphasises on the beauty of the material.
