Information Center ” Use of assisted reproductivetechnologies for livestock development “

A special focus area, Information Center, aims to show modern reproductivetechniques to further increase the productivity of cattle and pig livestock. Theexhibition will provide extensive information on the areas: estrus stimulation,pregnancy detection and monitoring, artificial insemination, administration andmanagement of animal restocking. The Information Center includes internationalcompanies and experts presenting solutions. The centre enables farming visitorsthe opportunity to choose appropriate solutions that optimise and intensify thereproduction processes on their own farms.The experts will be participating in workshops addressing topics such as pregnancy detection, oestrus stimulation and synchronisation, optimal timing ofinsemination, and the use of ultrasound scanners. Herd management systems forheat detection as well as proper use of pharmaceuticals for synchronisation andoptimisation of the processes of reproduction are also highlighted.Hall 75, Sector A, stand C2

To supplement the Information Center, two conferences on reproduction will takeplace on 5 February focusing on how to increase cattle and pig stock using modern reproductive technologies, each taking place in the pig and cattle forums respectively.

Two separate meetings on cattle and pig artificial insemination respectively willbe held on 6 February. They will show how reproduction processes are organisedin an advanced farm, enabling farming visitors to judge and decide on innovativemethods suitable to their own business.A range of other events and meetings dedicated to the reproduction topic will bepresented throughout the exhibition.

Special “Russian science for animal farming“

A special event jointly organised by the Russian Academy of AgriculturalSciences and the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation bringstogether Russia's leading research and educational institutions in the fields oflivestock farming and breeding. Russian scientists will be demonstrating their latest developments and taking the opportunity to gauge demand for the inno-vations on show.
