    City Sights provides a service to aidblind and partially sighted people toaccess Exeter City Centre with thehelp of a fully trained volunteer astheir guide.

    Exeter Ring & Ride is for anyone having problem using thenormal buses in the Exeter area. The driver brings users intothe city centre and to supermarkets on certain days dependingwhere you live. The Bus is an easy access vehicle which linkswith Exeter Shopmobility. This service also arranges a numberof lunches and excursions throughout the year.

    Ring & Ride is for anyone who ishaving problems using theordinary bus, perhaps becuasethe stop is too far away to walk,or because the bus steps are toosteep. Our bus is easy access,especially for walking frameand wheelchair users.

    The driver will bring you into the city centre and will link with ExeterShopmobility for wheelchairs or scooters. For at least one week of everymonth the bus takes passengers to local supermarkets. The bus will collectyou where it leaves you, after a stop of about two hours. We also do anumber of lunches and excursions to local events and places of interest.

    CitySightsThe guides working on City Sights are all volunteers whoare fully trained to ensure awareness and the needs ofblind and visually impaired people are met. To ensure yourupmost safety all of our volunteers are also subject to anenhanced criminal record bureau check. Our guides varyin age ranges and are both ladies and gentlemen.

    It costs 2 per hour to use one of our guides, withpayment being made either at the ECTA office on the dayor by invoice at the end of the month.D,o Jnaa!J !I!) b ~
