FACULTY

David Zakariaie is a pioneer within Google's, Glass Explorer Program, and is the Founder and CEO of Los Angeles based, Glassic LLC. He was part of the original 1000 Google IOattendees to be invited to the Google Glass Explorer Program in 2012.

Under his direction Glassic is currently working on multiple Glass related projectsexpanding Glass's capability in a wide range of disciplines. Glassic’s three main projectsfall into the categories of Recognition, Medical, and Advertising.

He has experience in a wide range of areas from App Design to Molecular Computing, and received the 2012 United States Naval Research award for his work in DNA andQuantum computing research.

As CEO of Glassic, David regularly speaks at conferences in order to reveal the truepotential of Google Glass as a tool in di�erent industries. A proven project managerand developer with extensive experience in web and all Object Oriented environments,including Objective-C and Java. Ability to identify skills and talent needed for complextechnical projects. Strong leadership skills in Business Development and MonetizationStrategies.

Orie Berezan is a Professor, in Management and Marketing and has Ph.D., in HospitalityAdministration by the University of Nevada, Las Vegas a M.S., in Hotel Administration bythe UNLV and a Bachelor of Commerce by the University of Alberta. His academic focusis mainly Corporate social responsibility and customer loyalty.

Research Interests/Current Projects:Dr. Berezan co-authored “Sustainable Hotel Practices and Guest Satisfaction Levels” which was published in International Journal of Hospitality & Tourism Administration,15 (2), 1-18, February 2014. Another manuscript he co-authored, “Loyalty Runs Deeperthan Thread Count: An Exploratory Analysis of Gay Guest Preferences and HotelierPerceptions,” has been approved for publication in the Journal of Travel &Tourism Marketing.

He currently is a lecturer in California State University of Dominguez Hill. Prior to CSUDHand UNLV he held senior management positions with Duetto, Four Seasons Hotels & Resorts, and Unicharm Japan.

Dr. Christodoulidou is the Director of the Hospitality Technology Research Institute at California State University Dominguez Hills. She is an Associate Professor in the Management and Marketing Department where she teaches for the undergraduate andthe MBA programs. She holds a Ph.D. from the University of Nevada Las Vegas, an MBAfrom the University of Wisconsin Milwaukee and a Master’s of Accounting and a B.Sc. fromArizona State University.

Her research interests are in the areas of Hospitality Technology, Electronic Commerce,Electronic Distribution, and E-Marketing. Her research has appeared in numerous academic and professional journals. Dr. Christodoulidou presents regularly at academic and professional industry conferences around the world.
