The focal point of the Executive Board Programme is the connection between strategy, development and value creation in the board room. You will get a theoretical platform and practical tools for making the right decisions and becoming an even more valuable board member.

The programme is an intense learning experience, designed specifically for board members and senior executives with a tight schedule. It consists of two modules - modul I lasts 2 days and module 2 lasts four days.

The module in Kolding has one evening, and the INSEAD module in France has two evenings for networking, socialising and dinner. After you have completed the Executive Board Programme there is a graduation, where you will receive a certificate from the Scandinavian Executive Institute & INSEAD.

1ST MODULE2 days in Kolding, Denmark

The first module focuses on the legal and strategic context of board room work. You will be challenged with cases that give you insight into value-creating tools and processes relevant to enhancing your performance as a board member.

Through debates, interactions and cases presented by experts and experienced board members, you will get inspiration for your own personal development as a board member, and learn to apply new skills to your current board responsibilities.

2ND MODULE4 days at INSEAD, France

In this module, delivered in association with INSEAD, the faculty will introduce you to to a frameworkthat enables you and your board to overcome the mostcommon and critical challenges that face a board.

You will learn how the board most effectively participates in the strategy process, focusing on the inherent differences between management and board perspectives. The decision-making process within the board is a central part of this module, and you will work with real-life cases to enhance your decision-making skills.
