Excursion to London via Brussels

We started at noon , on Monday 10th of May . After

20 hours we reached Brussels.

Brussels

• The Capitol of Belgium met us with rain and cold , brrrrrr…..

European Union Parliament

• We felt like a deputies going to the Eurpean Union Parliment

The Brussel’s monuments

• We have visted Saint’s Michael and Saint’s Gudulla’s Cathedral .

• We have also seen Manneken Pis who is a symbol of Brussels.

Atomium

• Was built for 1958’s

Expo . It is a model of iron crystal enlarged 165 milions times .

Mini Europe

• A part of our team at the mini Eiffel Tower .

• We also saw many different famous buildings and monuments including Solidarity Three Crosses from Gdansk.

Ferry to Dover

Welcome to England

Canterbury

• My friends could enjoy visit to Canterbury Cathedral .

• Very historic place where Thomas Becket was murdered by King Henry’s knights.

London –Buckingham Palace

• Unfortunately Queen was not in- flag was down.

• How beautiful was Saint James’s park

London Eye

• The Millenium Wheel is like a devil wheel but very, very slow . The whole circle takes half an hour.

• Fantastic sightseeing to London .

• In the past strange place where King Henry VI , Anne Boleyn , Thomas More were prisoned .

• We saw Cullinan diamond the bigesst in the world .

Madame Tussaud’s The museum of wax figures .
