Jain Internaional Trade Organisaton (JITO) is a unique,
multi-stakeholder community of visionary Jains who share a
commitment to shape the future. In a short span of thirteen
years, JITO has established many credible benchmarks in
the vast landscape of professional and social
organizations. JITO is the single largest organization of
prominent Jain Businessmen, Industrialists and
Professionals in India and abroad.
JITO, with a vision of economic & social growth of the
community and society at large, has envisaged various
projects in the fields of Economic Empowerment,
Knowledge and Service.

• 9 administrative Zones, 67 Chapters in India and
11 International Chapters at present, signify its wide reach.
• The swelling membership nearing 15000 contributes to a
strong financial standing with a corpus of more than INR 290
Crs.
• A Company formed in 2007 and registered under section 25 of
the Companies Act, 1956 (presently under section 8 of the
Companies Act, 2013), JITO is governed by a 42 Directors'
“Board” - reconstituted every two years ensuring a democratic
way of governance.
• Driven by the strategic leadership of 42 Directors, each owning
a variety of successful businesses and trades, JITO ensures
impeccable execution of the meticulously planned projects
with the support of its various statutory and project committees
and a professional secretariat equipped with a state-of-the-art
office in Mumbai, India.

• JELP - JITO Education Loan ProgramA scheme to offer subsidy on the interest amount of education loans to
students. Given subsidy of INR 260 Lac to 2410 students on interest paid by
them on educational loans from banks.
• SEED - Students Empowering Education & DevelopmentProvides interest free loans to meritorious students for higher education. So
far, INR 814 Lacs have been disbursed to more than 698 students.
• BEAT- Bank PO Exam Aptitude TrainingProvides coaching for Bank PO Exam. 53 Candidates have been selected so
far.

JITO Projects / Activities in India
Empowers education by preparing deserving youth to join civil services at
National and State levels through its 4 training centres across the country. 167
students have already been placed in various civil services at National level
and 272 students in State Civil Services.

• Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) CentreJATF has also launched its Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) Centre on
15th August 2020 as a platform to resolve cases without going to courts.
JATF’s ADR Centre for Arbitration would work as per the provisions of The
Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996. To begin with Mediation, the Centre will
deal with Family and Matrimonial matters and later on will move to matters
related to commercial & business disputes. Trained Mediators and Former
Judges would work with JATF ADR Centre.

3 JITO Business Networking (JBN)To meet one of the foremost JITO objective – Economic Empowerment, by
creating a pan India App based networking platform for community members for
their mutual benefit. It is expected to leverage and unleash the tremendous
business and economic power of the Jain community.
4 JITO Engineering and Management Program (JEMP)
With a vision to become the most ideal platform for preparing brilliant engineers &
management professionals and turning them into successful entrepreneurs &
professionals who will drive new age thoughts and innovation for empowerment
of the community and nation at large, JITO has envisaged JEMP which focuses
on preparing candidates for IITs and IIMs by facilitating coaching and creating a
support system for their grooming like mentoring at various stages and creating a
conducive environment by establishing hostels for their convenience. To facilitate
this, JITO has established:

2 JITO Incubation Centre
A project for incubating new ideas and supporting budding talent in technology
and other fields by providing basic facilities, mentoring and assistance in getting
financial resources. First state-of-the-art Incubation Centre in Mumbai is spread
over 8500 sq.ft.
• Judiciary ServicesJATF has started Judiciary services in December 2019 as a new stream at its
Delhi centre wherein Law Graduates aspir ing to become Civi l
Judge/Magistrate are provided with coaching and guidance. First batch was
of 17 students.

7 JEAP - JITO Employment Assistance ProgramJEAP has been instrumental in placement of more than 1800 candidates with
4,405 employers & 17,590 employees registered.
5 JITO Hostels
JITO, through it’s Chapters, has envisaged Hostel Project, wherein various
Chapters have announced and started work to construct hostels for community
students, where students shall get a homely environment, good healthy Jain food
and Jain Values. Hostel with 50 rooms and a capacity of 150 students is already
operational in Bangalore. Hostels which are under various stages of development
are at Ahmedabad (150 boys), Bangalore (150 girls), Bhilwara (150 boys/girls),
Belgaum (120 girls) and Hubali (90 girls).
6 JITO Awas Yojana
JITO, through it’s Chapters, has initiated a Dream Home Scheme, in various parts
of the country, for really needy families of the community, to help them own their
own shelter at very affordable prices.Projects which are under various stages of development are at Bangalore (923
flats), Ahmedabad (540 flats), Pune (427 flats), Mumbai (108 flats), Nashik (108
flats), Udaipur (108 flats) and Jodhpur (25 flats).

• JITO Kota Hostel (for IIT Students)
A Hostel in Kota, with capacity of 76 (being increased to 150 from April 2020)
students who are pursuing engineering through IITs, as their career. Students
are offered subsidy for coaching, accommodation and food in addition to
mentoring and broadening their vision. With a very high success ratio, till date
53 students have got admission in IITs.
• JITO IIM Coaching Centre
First Centre at Kolkata with facilities for supporting students to get through
CAT (Common Admission Test) for Indian Institutes of Management.

11 JITO Sports (Games & JPL)
To promote youth to take up sports for healthy living and to increase
representation of Jain sportsmen at local, state & national levels. Showcases the
emergence of youth power in the field of sports. Presently JITO Games includes
Chess, Badminton, Table Tennis, Tennis and Swimming. From 2020, Skating,
Volleyball and Athletics are being added.
JPL is a 20-20 cricket tournament which generates huge gathering and
enthusiastic response.
9 JITO Professional Forum & Speaker Pooling
A think tank of various professionals to brainstorm & discuss how to benefit the
community at large. It is a platform to involve Jain professionals globally with JITO
Members at large and work towards professional development and growth.

8 Shraman Arogyam
“Shraman Arogyam” takes care of the medical treatment free-of-cost to Sadhu &
Sadhvi Bhagwants of all sects. More than 14,000 Sadhu & Sadhvi Bhagwants are
registered and so far around INR. 36 Crs. have been spent on their healthcare.
To build strong relations internationally through networking and achieving
synergy of expertise, resources & talent for mutual growth and society upliftment.
Presently, there are 11 International Chapters - Dubai, UK, Hongkong, Nepal,
USA - New York, Thailand, Japan, Kenya, Uganda, Australia & USA - San
Francisco. JIW Initiatives - Spain, Perth, Sydney, Brisbane, Los Angeles,
Indonesia, Tanzania, Mauritus, Paris, Hamburg, Singapore and Nigeria and
many on the cards.

12 JITO Youth WingThe Youth Wing of JITO has an objective to connect more and more young Jains
to the mainstream and to take the advantage of power of youth. Presently, JITO
Youth Wings are in 40 chapters with over 5000 members.
13 JITO Ladies WingThe Ladies Wing of JITO has an objective to ensure increased participation and
representation of ladies by way of exploring hidden talent & potential. Presently,
JITO Ladies Wings are in 53 Chapters with over 4000 members.
14 JITO IT, PR & MediaA project to establish an interactive platform for the organization to reach out to
every member of the community by way of a consolidated website for all project
information (www.jito.org), Mobile App, Youtube & Facebook / Instagram, etc.
The PR & Media Department promotes JITO and its activities through coverage
in all media, i.e. print, electronic, OOH & social media.
15 JMAP - JITO Matrimonial Assistance Program25 Matrimonial Meets held so far at various places. Candidates registered so far
- 12,476 (Male - 7,420 / Female - 5,056).

18 Standard Management Manual & SOPWhile JITO is growing by leaps and bounds across the globe, for sustaining the
great work, ensuring standardisation and providing necessary scalability, the
need for standard operating procedures was felt.
The idea behind this committee formation is capturing lessons learnt,
eliminating reinvention of the wheel, facilitating visioning exercises and action
plans for Apex and various project committees.
One can anticipate the following benefits by adhering to these SOPs:

17 JITO Minority cellA cell to collect and disseminate information, advise & counsel regarding
matters of minority status to Jains.
16 Chapter & Membership Development, Chapter Compliance
& Foundation Day
At present, there are 67 Chapters and 11 International Chapters. Membership
nearing 15000. This project assists and promotes growth of Chapters,
membership and ensures their smooth functioning.
JITO and its Chapters celebrate its 'Foundation Day' in the month of March by
organizing various programs including felicitating eminent personalities who
have excelled in their respective fields.
