The reverse osmosis, R.O., also known as hyperfiltration, is the process in which they force the passage of solvent molecules from the more concentrated solution to the less concentrated solution obtained by applying to the solution more concentrated a pressure greater than the osmotic pressure. In practice, the reverse osmosis is carried out with a membrane that retains the solute on the one hand preventing the passage and allows to derive the pure solvent on the other. This phenomenon is not spontaneous and requires successful completion of mechanical work equal to that required to cancel the effect of the osmotic pressure.!!

This process represents the most fine water filtration technique, as is not simply a physical obstacle (determined by the size of the pores) to the passage of molecules, but exploits the different chemical affinity of the species with the membrane, allowing the passage fact of hydrophilic molecules (or water-like), that is chemically similar to water (eg, the short chain alcohols). From the plant point of view the method uses the principle of tangential flow filtration, as well as other separation techniques using membranes such as microfiltration, ultrafiltration and nanofiltration. Reverse osmosis is used in water treatment, both for desalination, and for the removal of traces of phosphates, calcium and heavy metals, and pesticides, radioactive materials and of almost all the polluting molecules.!!

These membranes are semipermeable and manufactured primarily for use in water purification or desalination systems. They also have use in chemical applications such as batteries and fuel cells. In essence a TFC material is a molecular sieve constructed in the form of a film of two or more layered materials.!The membranes used in the osmosis are generally made of polyamide, chosen primarily for its water permeability and the relative impermeability to various dissolved impurities including salt ions and other small molecules that can not be sorted. Another example of a semipermeable membrane is the one used in the dialysis.!!

SERINT!Water World!Reverse Osmosis Pure Water!!Features!START AND STOP OF THE SYSTEM !This system is provided with a low (pump protection) and high pressure switch for operation control. It stops the system when the tank is full and starts again when it is partially emptied.!

AQUASTOP TO PREVENT FLOODINGS!High sensitivity electronic control which blocks the system and warns about a water leak. It has been designed to prevent the system from stopping in case of humidity or condensation.!

WATER QUALITY INDICATOR!Parameterizing probe and quality control.!Light indicator which shows when permeate conductivity is higher than the parameter value.!

FILTER CHANGE WARNING!Warning system on the front panel through leds and acoustic media (configurable) in order to inform the end user when the service life of the filters is about to expire or if it has already expired.!
