  • Checking CPC Summary Report:Purged students (no-shows) will have an (I) and WD date; there should be no WD code, LDA, LCP, or Attend HoursIf there is any data on purged students other than a WD Date, teachers MUST go into gradebook and delete the incorrect data

    This tutorial will demonstrate the process for generating attendance reports in the new Web version of gradebook.

    These directions are for any instructor teaching an Adult General Education class, such as ABE, GED, and ESOL.To generate an attendance report in the Web Gradebook, you will need to be in the New Report view.

    If you are already logged in to gradebook and in an attendance view, click on the HOME button in the upper left corner of the view.

    This will bring you back to the Home Page. From the Web Gradebook Home Page, click on New Report under the Reports heading.The New Report view will open and you will see the reports categories.

    Click on the plus sign next to the Attendance category.

    The attendance reports will be displayed. Select the Adult Attendance Roster GB report.You will now need to select your desired parameters for the attendance report.

    First, select the class section. Next, select the group of students for the report. Choosing ALL will include those students who have been withdrawn from that class section. Choosing SELECT will allow you to identify one student at a time in the class section.

    Next, select the begin date for the attendance report. Click on the calendar icon , and select the month and day Then, select the end date for the attendance report. The gradebook will always default to the current day.

    Finally, click on the RUN REPORT button.While the report is generating, you will be in the MY REPORTS view. Notice the pending icon to the right of the report. This tells you that the data is being compiled.

    When the report is ready, the status will indicate so along with the time the report was generated.

    To view the report, click on the report name.

    The report will open in a new browser tab as a PDF file.

    You will recognize, and can use, all the features of Adobe Reader.To save the attendance report, click the SAVE button and navigate to where you would like the report file saved.

    To print the attendance report, click on the printer icon and select a printer. All reports will print landscape on standard 8.5 x 11 paper.There are 2 important aspects that you need to check on your attendance report. All students must have an E-code as their first attendance code. In this example, notice that students 2 and 8 in the list are missing their E-codes.

    2. Students must have an attendance code for all class session days after the E-code. In this example, notice that student 5 is missing 2 days of attendance codes.

    When you notice missing or incorrect attendance data on your report, you must go back into Quick Attendance and make the corrections.     From here, you can also click the NEW button to generate another report with different parametersWhen you are finished generating reports, click on the HOME button in the upper-left of the window. From the Home Page, you can select your next task such as Quick Attendance or viewing the Attendance Grid.

    When you are finished in gradebook, please remember to log out by clicking the Logout link located in the upper-right corner of the window. It is next to the teachers name.

    This will bring you back to the logon page.

    From here, you can log back on to gradebook, select another Website, or just or close your browser.
