Dear Parents, Catholic Education Week is a time to celebrate and thank those who, over many years, have contributed to the success of Catholic schools in our community. We are grateful to everyone who has ‘founded’ the schools we enjoy today, whether that role was as staff members, parents, students and former students. There is much to celebrate in our Catholic schools as clearly evidenced by our combined schools Mass held last Friday. Last Friday night in Ballarat, as part of the celebrations for Catholic Education week, staff member, Kingsley Dalgleish was recognised for his 30 years of service to Catholic Education and to St Brigid’s College. Kingsley was presented with his certificate by Bishop Paul Bird. GWM WATER STUDENT CONFERENCE St Brigid's students were given the opportunity to participate in the GWMWater Student Conference last Friday at Federation University, Horsham Campus. This Conference provided students the opportunity to present their research findings on the topic of "Quality Water in our World". Kyra Clarke, Annabella Fort, Vanrika Heldt, Madeleine Arnel and Maggie Caris were our representatives and produced an excellent, thought- provoking presentation at the Conference and were announced the winners of the Conference. Their prize was $1000 for St Brigid’s and the girls must now decide how this prize money will be spent. The competition from other Wimmera schools was of the highest quality and the girls, being drawn as the first presenters, wondered if their hard work was going to pay off. It did!! Well done girls!! From left: Madeleine Arnel, Vanrika Heldt, Maggie Caris, Kyra Clarke and Annabella Fort. RE-ENROLMENT FOR CURRENT STUDENTS FOR 2018 All current families are asked to complete their child’s re-enrolment form. It is at this time, the College Executive will begin working on staffing and budgets for the 2018 year. The single most critical factor underpinning all areas of forecasting (including staffing, subjects, student fees, etc.) is student numbers, hence the more accurate these numbers are the more we can be sure the needs of the students are met.

Dear Parents,

Catholic Education Week is a time to celebrate and thank those who, over many years, have contributed to the success of Catholic schools in our community.

GWM WATER STUDENT CONFERENCE

St Brigid's students were given the opportunity to participate in the GWMWater Student Conference last Friday at Federation University, Horsham Campus. This Conference provided students the opportunity to present their research findings on the topic of "Quality Water in our World". Kyra Clarke, Annabella Fort, Vanrika Heldt, Madeleine Arnel and Maggie Caris were our representatives and produced an excellent, thought-provoking presentation at the Conference and were announced the winners of the Conference. Their prize was $1000 for St Brigid’s and the girls must now decide how this prize money will be spent. The competition from other Wimmera schools was of the highest quality and the girls, being drawn as the first presenters, wondered if their hard work was going to pay off. It did!! Well done girls!!

RE-ENROLMENT FOR CURRENT STUDENTS FOR 2018

All current families are asked to complete their child’s re-enrolment form.
