Year 4’s Cadbury World Adventure! Houses of Parliament & Natural History Museum
As part of Year 4’s IPC unit, pupils went to learn about how and where chocolate is made. They looked at the lengthy process which included transporting cocoa beans from countries along the equator to the factory. Pupils had an insight into why and how the Cadbury brothers established Bourneville. One of the exciting areas was the Aztec Jungle, which transported you back in time; it was amazing and very realistic. The 4D cinema had you jumping out of your seat; a breathtaking experience. Comparisons were made between past and present day machinery. Year 4 thoroughly enjoyed this small Cadbury adventure including the free samples of the famous Cadbury chocolates and a cup full of pure pleasure!
As you know, last week 46 Year 10 students visited Houses of Parliament and Natural History Museum in London last week. All of them learnt many very interesting and important facts about how democracy works and that how important it is for young people to be active in issues concerning them. When they were at the Houses of Parliament, Maghrib Salah time approached; they asked for permission to pray there and the officials at Parliament very kindly allowed them to do so. We, the pupils and teachers of MFL are very thankful for their help. Br Ozair Akhtar (MFL HOD) sends his thanks to the parents for their understanding and the staff members who supported this wonderful educational trip.

L.O: To describe a character.
Samia is a hairy, ugly and smelly bear because she got struck by dark, sharp and bad lightning!
Her eyes are horrible, black and scary so no one likes her. Samia has black, brown and pointy
hair but she does not even like her hair. Samia’s most evil enemy is Olly the kindest owl in the
world.
Do like Samia more or Olly more? Samia’s nose is so pointy so she can hit people and not
blame it on herself. Her teeth are sharper than laser wirers because when she touches her
teeth she starts to bleed red blood.
Samia’s face is so puffy and she has a black spot on her face! When she touches the
black, ugly and fat bottom she starts to fly! When Samia walks slime comes from her feet
because she is so dirty. Samia talks with green and yellow sticky bogies.

Year 4a, Maryam Y
Dear Diary,
Yesterday was incredible, there are no words for it. A kid was just playing around he
was putting his stick in the ground and he felt something hard as a result it was a step. The
boy called me and told me I was overjoyed. Me and the crew moved our stuff quickly as we
went to the step, we began digging we had found a seal a royal seal! It said “this tomb
belongs to Tutankhamen.”
Everyone was excited, I sent a telegram to Carnovan and told him that we found
Tutankhamen’s tomb he was excited. In the next two weeks he had arrived with his daughter
Lady Evlyn. So I led them to the tomb. I was just about to open the door when I remembered
we were restricted by Egyptian law not to go any further without an Inspector, frustrated we
went home. Finally we had decided nevertheless we had a Inspector or not we snuck in
because we all desperate to see what was inside. I thought “If this is Tutankhamen’s tomb
where is his body?” I went further inside and I saw to statues they both had a seal on them I
realized it was an entrance to another room which. Stores Tutankhamen’s BODY!
I felt as though the whole world lit up however I knew I couldn’t tell anyone. UNTIL...
Lady Evlyn told all of the BRITISH SOCEITY!!! Aaargh! Because she did this we had to cover up
the whole thing AGAIN! Thus I shall never speak to her again! Diary, I seriously can’t believe
she did this, and yet she didn’t apologise This is the end of my diary entry.
