DAM AND LEVEE SEEPAGE REPAIR

DEWIND ONE-PASS TRENCHERS are perfectly suited for dam and levee repair. DEWIND ONE-PASS TRENCHERS are compact, multi-tasking and designed to have the power and torque to mix-in-place a

very heavy (high slump) mix of SB or SCB to create dam and levee seepage barriers. A heavy mix is

essential for the repair of critical leaking dams and levees to avoid additional weakening during the barrier

installation. Unlike other mix-in-place technologies, ONE-PASS TRENCHERS completely homogenize the

native soils with the cement and/or bentonite additives from top to bottom and from start to finish to

create a consistent and seamless barrier wall.

DEWIND ONE-PASS TRENCHERS are equipped with technologically advanced quality control features

that meter, monitor and track the additives to ensure a perfect installation every time.

Ground improvement by MASS MIXING is

an economical alternative to conventional

ISS and ISCO technologies. MASS MIXING with the one-pass trencher is

MASS MIXING unsuitable soils with

cement additives can create high

compressive strength and high bearing

capacity soils that provide excellent

foundations for buildings eliminating the

need to install deep foundation piles.

EXCAVATION SUPPORTCONSTRUCTION DEWATERING BARRIER

ONE-PASS MIXED IN PLACE SOIL CEMENT BENTONITE WALLS can be

installed up to 125’ deep. These

excavation support walls can be

reinforced with steel and tied back as

needed. The BENTONITE creates an

impermeable water barrier, reducing the

need to manage large construction

dewatering systems while the concrete

adds strength. ONE-PASS is a fast and

economical alternative to conventional

excavation support.

SOIL BENTONITE BARRIER WALLS

MIXED IN PLACE SOIL, BENTONITE BARRIER WALLS create a seamless

barrier to contain contaminated

groundwater and prevent it from moving

off site. The ONE-PASS TECHNOLOGY

can homogenize the native soils with the

BENTONITE to create an evenly mixed

impermeable barrier that groundwater

cannot pass through. The ONE-PASS

method is typically 4x faster than other

INTERLOCK VERT AND HORIZONTAL PRE-CAST PANELS STACK INTERLOCKING CONCRETE FOUNDATION PANELS

NEW PATENT PENDING – DEEP INTERLOCKING CONCRETE FOUNDATION PANELS

DEWIND has developed a new INTERLOCKING STACKABLE CONCRETE PANEL SYSTEM.

An unlimited length of concrete foundation wall can be installed up to 125’ feet deep fast and easy with this NEW PRE-CAST INTERLOCK SYSTEM.

The ONE-PASS TRENCHER creates a slurry trench through the native soils creating a deep trench for the interlocking panels to be lowered into.

Long sections of PRE-CAST PANELS are stacked one on top of the other to achieve the desired depth of up to 125’ deep. The next section of PRE-CAST PANELS are interlocked to the first set and so on to create a solid concrete foundation wall of unlimited length.

PANELS can be designed to house vibration sensors to detect tunneling activities or seismic activity.

SDEEP MIX-IN PLACE SOIL BENTONITE WALLS UNDERGROUND ALLUVIAL WATER STORAGE RESERVOIRS

DEWIND can create an underground water storage reservoir in a single MIX-IN-PLACE pass with our ONE-PASS TRENCHER TECHNOLOGY. Miles of impermeable wall can be mixed up to 125’ feet deep below grade. ONE-PASS SOIL BENTONITE WALLS are completely homogenized from top to bottom and from start to finish. With the ONE-PASS method there is absolutely no possibility of voids or windows in the wall. SB walls can be securely keyed into a confining layer to create a leak proof water storage reservoir.

LARGE VOLUME WATER SUPPLY SYSTEMS

The DEWIND HORIZONTAL WATER SUPPLY SYSTEM can tap into shallow permeable aquafers and provide large volumes of water for farmers, municipalities, storage reservoirs etc. The trencher sets a vertical pump station (up to 50’ deep) and installs large diameter slotted hdpe horizontal collector pipe hundreds of linear feet long creating a massive groundwater inteceptor trench that can produce hundreds to thousands of gallons of water per minute.

We are proud to have developed the technology to install complete groundwater collection systems in a single pass under the water table without an open excavation.

The Trencher can set a vertical pump station along with an unlimited amount of slotted HDPE SDR 11 pipe horizontal collection at up to 50’ deep, while simultaneously backfilling the trench to grade with pea gravel to create an interceptor trench for the capture and pumping of large volumes of contaminated groundwater for treatment.

ONE-PASS TECHNOLOGY avoids all the costs and liabilities of conventional excavation. NO dewatering, NO pumping, NO treatment of contaminated water, NO mass excavations, NO treatment of contaminated soils, NO excavation shoring, LESS stone, and LESS time and oversight.
