Basic Helpful Hints for Using In-text Citations

“The in-text citation is placed at the end of the sentence, and before the period” (Anderson 342).

If you have more than one source you need to use the author’s last name and the page number (Johnson 16).

If there is no author use the title of the article along with the page number (“Taking Notes” 4).
