EXAMPLE MENU W ith every bottle of South African wine you enjoy at the French Rooms you are helping vulnerable children in South Africa through StreetSmart SA, an organisation under the founding patronage of Archbishop Desmund Tutu. All wine donations, £1.00 on every South African bottle, are used to support the visionary Kuasasa School project in a settlement close to Franschhoek in the Western Cape wine lands. You are also helping with every cup of tea or coffee you enjoy - 5p on every cup. With the Cape suffering the worst drought in a century we are now also charging 10p on every glass/jug of tap water supporting a charity helping both children and adults in need with outreach programs, vocational education and skills development. Our full year target is £2,000 & you can choose not to donate should you wish. Our local kids are not forgotten. In conjunction with Community groups we are introducing them to hospitality and cookery. Many are hugely talented and you can see examples of their artwork at the BT building by the Car Park, the buses to the Giant’s Causeway and with some of the illustrated panels in the windows of vacant & derelict buildings. 4. Graham Beck Waterside Chardonnay South Africa An unoaked Chardonnay with pale straw colour and exotic fruit on the nose. wonderful fresh lime mixed with tropical zestiness on the nose. Good firm acidity on the palate with lots of citrus, melon and grapefruit flavours.

5. Vanidade Albarino SpainBone dry with high acidity and lively flavours of crisp green apple, peach and citrus. A simple and fresh style, wonderful as an apperitif or delicious with fish or salads.
