Open my eyes, that I may see wondrous things from Your law. Psalm 119:18

We are living in dangerous times especially with the concerns

about the corona virus. The media tells us about it every day; however, the Bible tells us 365 times not to fear. That’s how many times God tells us not to be afraid. We can have confidence that He is always with us and He will guard and protect us no matter what the situation. In this season of Easter, we need to concentrate on how much He loves us. He loves us so much that He sent His only son to suffer and die for us on the cross. How many of us would allow our only child to be ridiculed and mocked and beaten? How many of us would send our only child to cer-tain death? God tells us in Romans 5:8 that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. There is no greater love than this!

Our Bible study this quarter in in the book of Romans. This

book was written by Paul while he was in prison in Rome. He tells us in Romans 3:23 that all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God. In Romans 3:10, he tells us there is none righteous, no, not one. In Ro-mans 5:12, we’re told that as through one man sin entered the world, and death through sin, and thus death spread to all men, because all sinned-. In Romans 10:9, he tells us that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes unto righteousness and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. In Romans 10:13, he tells us that whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved. In Romans 10:17, he tells us that faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of God. Let’s all proclaim the good news of the gospel of Jesus Christ our Lord. He is risen! He is risen indeed!
