I found out what the copyright law for

music videos are and what is classed as

violating it.

It was good because I found out one of

the key pieces of information I need to

know.

14/06/12 http://stakeholders.ofcom.org.uk/broadcasting/guidance/programme

-guidance/bguidance/

This source was about protecting under

18’s and the codes for Ofcom for doing

this

This was a good source of information

because it gave me everything I needed

to know about ofcom and protecting

under 18 year olds.

14/06/12 http://www.independentproducerhandbook.co.uk/18/4a-protecting-

under-18s-and-harm-ad-offence/key-points.html

This source of information informed me

about Ofcom's rules on harm and

offence in music videos. It gave me a

number of useful bullet points that

helped me with my work.

This was a good source because it gave

me a lot of bullet points and examples

on ofcoms rules regarding harm and

offence in music videos.

14/06/12 http://stakeholders.ofcom.org.uk/broadcasting/broadcast-

codes/broadcast-code/crime/

This informed me about the ofcom

regulations on crime.

This was a good source because it gave

me everything I needed to know and it

broke it down into small points so I did

not have to do a lot of reading.

14/06/12 http://stakeholders.ofcom.org.uk/consultations/fandp/statement/ This gave some information on ofcoms

regulations on fairness and privacy.

I thought it was ok but did not give me

all the information needed and wanted

to know.

This source of information informed

me about the ofcom regulations of

fairness.

I thought it was quite helpful because

it only had the fairness part of ofcom

regulations and nothing else.

14/06/12 http://stakeholders.ofcom.org.uk/broadcasting/broadcast-

codes/broadcast-code/fairness/

This source also informed me about

the fairness sector of the ofcom

regulations.

I didn’t think this source was very

helpful because it only described one

section of the fairness policy in ofcom

regulations.

14/06/12 http://stakeholders.ofcom.org.uk/broadcasting/broadcast-

codes/broadcast-code/protecting-under-18s/

This was information on ofcom

regulations about protecting under 18

year olds.

I thought this source was ok however

it only had one section of the ofcom

regulations of protecting under 18

year olds.

14/06/12 http://stakeholders.ofcom.org.uk/broadcasting/broadcast-

codes/broadcast-code/harmoffence/

This source of information told me

briefly about harm and offence

regulations with ofcom.

I thought this was a ok source

because it was very brief and it was

only the first section however I had to

do more research on it to find what I

wanted.

14/06/12 http://media.ofcom.org.uk/2011/09/30/ofcom-warns-tv-

broadcasters-to-be-more-careful-around-watershed/

This source of information tells me

what ofcom regulation is briefly.

I thought this source was ok to give

me a brief insight on what ofcom was

but I needed to carry out more

research in order to find out more.

16/06/12 http://stakeholders.ofcom.org.uk/broadcasting/broadcast-

codes/broadcast-code/crime/

This information briefly broke down

the regulations of crime for ofcom

I thought this source was good for an

introduction on crime and how ofcom

feel about it.

16/06/12 http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Liability_insurance This source was about public liability. I thought this source was not helpful

at all because it had lots of links to

other things and also there was to

much information about other stuff.

16/06/12 http://www.businesslink.gov.uk/bdotg/action/detail?itemId=10

74301656&type=RESOURCES

This was a source of information

about public liability.

I thought this source was quite helpful

it explained what public liability was

however it was in business terms so I

had to change t over to media terms.

16/06/12 http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Completion This was a source of information

about completion.

I did not find this source very helpful

because there was more things on

there tat did not appeal to the main

topic I searched for.

16/06/12 http://www.bectu.org.uk/about This source informed me about what

bectu is all about.

I thought this source was quite helpful

because it explains what bectu is.
