Examples from Channel 4

The 4 logo is using white, this is done so that it stands away from the image and so the audience can see who the institution are

The meat symbolises the food that these people eat and also because with the use of meat it links to what the program is about

The apron on the woman is bloody, this is what is associated to this type of food preparation

The 4 logo is placed in the middle of the page on the right hand side. Placed here because then the audience know how the producers are

The text colour is all taken from the eye which helps to show that everything is linked to show the purpose

The word ‘Saw’ is used in this way because only one eye is being shown. Also because this made was involved in many scandals, only he saw what went on and what didn’t.

The use of the great wall of china recognises that people are separated so child can get stolen easily and used in trade

The use of the colour of red shows that there is a strong embassies on the importance and also that it is a bold statement

Very dark appearance to show that it is a serious topic. Helps the audience to understand that the topic that is being shown is one that people should pay attention to this program.

As shown on the last slide, the factual insert is a shot of the documentary and the use of colours around the whole of the image are taken from the image.

My idea

I will be using a image from my completed documentary.

Radio Advert

As part of my work and ancillary tasks, I will be making a radio advert, this will be seen on blogger. This will be similar to the adverts which are done by channel 4 to advertise their programs. A section of the advert will be taken from the documentary
