Dr. Shari Jorissen, EdD, PhD is the Director of Assessment in the Office of Institutional Research and Assessment (OIRA) at Walden University.
As the Director of Assessment, Dr. Jorissen is responsible for coordinating the course evaluation process for Walden including administration and reporting. In addition, she is responsible for Program level learning outcomes assessment and reporting across Walden as well as completing research projects with different stakeholders throughout the University.
She was a member of the Walden University HLC Assessment Academy committee and currently serves as a mentor for two other universities going through this process. She is an active member of the Association for Institutional Research (AIR) and the Association for the Assessment of Learning in Higher Education (AALHE).
Dr. Jorissen is a two time alumni of Walden having earned her PhD in Psychology in 2008 and her EdD in Higher Education and Adult Learning in 2012.

To complete your survey:• Go to the My Announcements area within your Blackboard classroom and open the
"Invitation to respond" announcement to submit a response. • If you do not see the invitation link in the My Announcements box, click on more
announcements…to find the link.• You may have to scroll through the announcements to find the link.• The course evaluation will not be saved, if you stop filling out the evaluation before you
submit you will need to start again.

– March 6 through June 5: Spring Report– June 6 through September 5: Summer Report– September 6 through December 5: Fall Report– December 6 through March 5: Winter Report
• Course Evaluation Report: All questions; Frequencies and means over time
• Course Characteristics Report: Mean scores of course questions
• Instructor Quality Report (IQR): Mean scores of instructor questions and instructor scale
