May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace
as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope
by the power of the Holy Spirit. ~ Romans 15:13
Listen my son, to a father's instruction; pay attention and gain understanding; ~Proverbs 4:1
HAPPY FATHER'S DAY
HAPPY FATHER'S DAY! GUESS THAT CAUGHT YOU BY SURPRISE! A WEEK LATE YOU MAY SAY. . . .AND I THINK. . . .WE SHOULD EXPRESS OUR LOVE FOR OUR FATHERS EVERY DAY! We should express an appreciation for our fathers every day--not just one special day a year set aside by the world. SO TODAY ON THIS "NON-FATHER'S DAY", WE SAY HAPPY FATHER'S DAY AND WE LOVE YOU! GOD LOVES YOU! JESUS LOVES YOU!. THE HOLY SPIRIT LOVES YOU! And I ask you, "just how wonderful is that!" Thank you, Jesus, for loving me. Thank you, God, for loving me. Thank you, Holy Spirit, for loving me. Amen.

Good News Reported by Sheila Yancey:
Nathan Lee was baptized into Christ Wednesday night, June 14. Let's praise God for the new addition to his family. Most of us have know Nathan all his life. He is the son of Joe, minister at Gulf Street Church of Christ , and former deacon of our congregation, and his wife Deborah Waites Lee. He is the grandson of James and Joan Waites. Nathan is a fine young man who leads singing and bible reading for the Magnolia Manor Facility where my mom, Frances Messina is living. Joe along with others lead a worship service the 2nd and 4th Sundays of the month and the 5th Sun-day if there is one. Many people are touched by his service. He also brings Mom and any other fellow Christians who might be in the facility there and several other locations in our city the Lords communion each Sunday. What a blessing. It always touches my heart when I see these kids that have grown up in the Lord's church accept the gospel and put on Christ in baptism. It is so important to encourage our youth to attend Sun-day school and worship. Blessings to that family and to all of you, Sheila
Philippians 4:6-7 Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situa tion, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, pre-sent your requests to God. 7 And the peace of God, which transcends all under-standing, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. New International Version
