Marketing News

HYUNDAI STARS AT PGA TOURNAMENTSHyundai premium vehicles have played a high-profile role in the first three PGA golf tournaments of 2014.

The third PGA event was the Farmers Insurance Open at Torrey Pines in San Diego, California. The 2015 Genesis was on display at this event, with one in the Hyundai Fan Zone and one on the 16th hole.

Exposure at these prestigious PGA events raises awareness while creating interest in our premium models— the Equus and Genesis.

Dealer Success Stories

FT. LAUDERDALE: ART APPRECIATIONA lot of the Hyundai dealers are thinking outside the box to make prospective buyers aware of the Equus. Case in point: Rick Case Hyundai in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, came up with an ingenious way. They are one of the sponsors of the Broward Center for the Performing Arts, so they put an Equus on display outside the theater—plus their marketing message runs on the monitors inside the venue.

HOUSTON: WE HAVE LIFT OFF!To make people aware of the Equus and everything it has to offer (i.e., that it is a viable choice compared to other premium vehicles like the BMW 7 Series and Mercedes S Class), the Houston HDAA (Dealer Advertising Association) dealers and Hyundai Motor America worked together to find a creative way to accomplish that goal by putting an Equus on display at Houston Hobby Airport with a sign that asks: “WHAT KIND OF CAR IS THAT?”

Equus on the Go

EQUUS IN THE MALLSThree Hyundai dealers have been getting the word out about the Equus by putting them on display in premium malls. On the right is the display around the fountain at the upscale Menlo Park Mall in Edison, New Jersey, by Sansone Hyundai, Avenel, New Jersey.

Above, in addition to an Equus on display at the Lenox Square Mall, Jim Ellis Hyundai of Atlanta, Georgia, also put a Genesis on display. Below is the display at the Mall of Georgia® in Buford, Georgia, by AutoNation Hyundai, which is also located in that mall.
