The Everleigh is a small family dedicated to creating a truly hospitable, intimate atmosphere where both regulars and visitors can feel at home. With a purist approach to cocktails, The Everleigh focuses upon classics from the time of the cocktail’s birth. Our method is one of careful attention to detail. It is meticulous and systematic. Every step in the preparation of making and serving a cocktail has been carefully considered to ensure efficiency and quality above all else. It’s the same quality and care you can expect when booking a function at The Everleigh – from corporate events to birthdays, EOFY to engagements and weddings, you can rest assured The Everleigh has a team of professionals looking out for your next function.

Finding the right fitChoose from The Everleigh’s two private function spaces for your next event: The Elk Room and the Starling Room.

the elk room

The Elk Room is a 1920’s style classic cocktail bar and event space, filled with soft leather chesterfield sofas and marble tables alongside turn of the century antiques and taxidermy.

Capacity: 80 guestsMinimum spend: $1500 (Sun - Thurs), $2000 (Fri), $3000 (Sat)Optional extras: Full AV, dimmable lighting, wireless microphone, screen and projector.

the starling room

With booth style seating and an intimate atmosphere, the Starling Room is the ideal place for small groups to meet for a cocktail. Or several. Reserve the room for the night or in 2-hour increments, which may be booked online for your convenience. Minimum spends apply on Friday and Saturday evenings.

Full venue hireThe Everleigh is available for full venue hire 7 days per week for events concluding before 5pm. Book your afternoon cocktail event or choose to hire the space exclusively for wedding photos, film shoots, unique presentation spaces and more.

rates All exclusive-use requests are handled on a case-by-case basis and minimum spends will be communicated upon enquiry.

The Everleigh is a world renowned cocktail bar, specialising in classic cocktails. Guests are guaranteed to find a cocktail they love and we firmly believe they are a must-have for all celebrations. In order to cater to your individual taste, we offer you the ability to design your own beverage menu. Drinks can be charged based on consumption or you can select a beverage package best suited to your budget.

food by bar margaux We are able to fully cater your celebration, with a menu curated by our sister venue, Bar Margaux. Our catering packages start at $25 per person, depending on your desires. Guests can graze on a selection of seasonal charcuterie and cheese boards, sourced from specialty butchers and cheesemongers. For a more substantial offering, opt for one of the canapé packages.

Terms & Conditions

dates & deadlines

Function bookings at The Everleigh are considered finalised once a contract has been signed and a deposit or authentication has been made. The full balance for any pre-organised food and beverage purchases are due no less than 2 business days prior to your event.

Guest attendance numbers must be finalised at least 10 days prior to your event (14 days during the November / December booking period). This number will indicate final charges on all per person packages, regardless of if your guest numbers decrease on the night. Any pre organised food must also be finalised at this time.

Full payment is due two business days prior to your event. Please see more on payment details below.

final payment & minimum spends

Final payment for an Elk Room function is due no later than 2 business days before your event (7 days during November / December). For groups with pre-organised food and beverage menus, the full pre-organised amount is due. Should you wish to extend your tab or if there is a minimum spend deficit, all payment is due by the conclusion of your event.

Minimum spends are subject to change based on time of year. All minimum spends will be determined and communicated at the time of booking and indicated on your contract. The organiser agrees to pay any minimum spend deficit on the night.

Credit card payments will incur a 1.39% surcharge. You are welcome to pay via EFT by noting your invoice number in the reference column.

deposits

Private functions in the Elk Room will be secured with a deposit. Your deposit is applied towards the event costs (any pre-organised food, bar tab or package). Deposit amounts are as follow:• $500 (all functions with minimum spend requirements less than

$8,000)• 10% of total minimum spend requirement (for events with minimum

spends more than $8000)Your deposit is applied towards the event costs (any pre organised food, bar tab or package). Deposits are subject to change depending on the time of year and size of the function. These will be communicated to you at your time of booking.

All other (Standing or Starling Room) functions are subject to a card authentication process to an amount of $500. Card details are encrypted and stored securely through a Stripe payment system.

other terms

The Everleigh is not responsible for the protection of its guests’ property, though we will make every effort to locate lost items. Function organisers agree to take financial responsibility for any damaged property or excessive cleaning costs incurred as a direct result of the function.

All decorations must be approved by The Everleigh management team and must not use any adhesives or loose glitter.

Any entertainment must be approved by our functions team in writing prior to your event.
